Betty Davis didn't say "Buckle your seatbelts..." That was the one who played next to W C Fields. Mae West maybe? You know, "come on up and see me sometime"

I think I'll pass on the celebration.

They make it all sound like a good thing, don't they?
Just say "no" to homosexuals. It's easy, and it's free.

"But our nation has now been told by our highest court that gay Americans must be treated fairly."
I thought the goal was "equally."
Once they have what they want, will they tolerate diversity of opinion?

That gets us to Congress. Pressure is mounting to amend the U.S. Constitution to ban gay marriage. I predict the Senate will refuse to climb aboard that anti-gay bandwagon. We need to keep the pressure on this ammendment. It's a good one. Otherwise, all other fetish groups will be screamimg for marraige rights. People will want to marry cars, blue jeans , or spotted owls.

She forgot to add this gain.
"We have to raise the possibility that this could be indicating a regurgence (sic) of HIV in that [gay male] population," Dr. Ronald Valdeserri, the CDC's deputy director of HIV prevention, said in an interview yesterday. The HIV findings come on the heels of a CDC report last week that syphilis climbed in 2002, for the second year in a row, with nearly half the new cases seen among gay men.
The CDC data cover 29 states, but do not include New York, California, Illinois and Washington, D.C., which have recently switched from monitoring only full-blown AIDS cases to include data on HIV infection. The four contain a large segment of the nation's gay and Latino population, so infection rates in gay men and Latinos might be steeper if data from the states were available, Valdiserri said.

Unfortunately, it is a glimpse of the future. And of the past. The latter gives great reason to fear for the former.

Meanwhile, all Democratic presidential candidates came out strongly in support of legal rights for gay couples. Three of them support same-sex marriage. And to think, it was Bill and Hillary who championed gay rights so much. Amazing how none of this happened while those two were in the White House.

Again and again and again, we were given reason to celebrate. And now, largely because we advanced in 2003 as never before, 2004 promises to be very exciting -- and very scary. But remember, y'all. According to the national media there is no such thing as a homosexual agenda.

Friend of mine remarked that the increasing volume and strident tenor of "in-your-face" pro-"gay" court rulings, TV shows, and articles like this one reminded him of the tactics of the so-called "Republicans" (who were actually atheistic far-left socialists, anarchists, and communists) in Spain just before the outbreak of civil war in 1936.
That one didn't go too well for the "Republicans," if I recall correctly....

I said that when gays came out of the closet that phedophiles would ride their coat tails. We can already see where the Supremes stand on the issue given their ruling on child porno.
But then the impeachment of the Supremes will never happen if people don't call their congress critters.

Deb Price is the biggest one-tick pony columnist around. EVERY SINGLE column she has ever written has been about gay-this and gay-that, and she only helps to reinforce the stereotype that homosexuals are obsessed with their sexuality to the point of excluding anything else.
To: presidio9
2004 should be the year Americans just say no to the homosexual movement. I, for one, am getting sick and tired of the 4% of the population that calls itself "gay" getting 80% of the liberal media's attention.
