Section 1. -- COORPORATE RESPONICIBLITY FOR SPREAD OF SLAVERY
Clause A. -- Political Enities
Whereas, historical records indiciate that many segements within the DEMOCRATIC Party openly aided and abetted the growth of slavery, but no portion of the Republican Party did so.
Whereas, the DEMOCRATIC Party platform promoted the interests of the slave trade at several national conventions, but no other party choose to do so.
Whereas, the DEMOCRATIC Party spent over a century obstructing civil rights, the abolishment of slavery, and equal opporunities, but the Republican Party never did so.
Therefore, the political enity known as the DEMOCRATIC PARTY OF THE UNITED STATES, and its organizational wing, the DEMOCRAT NATIONAL COMMITTEE, is renounced by the United States Congress for its unique role in the spread of slavery.
In the interests of healing the wounds of slavery and repatriting the ancestors of it, The DEMOCRAT PARTY is hereby:
I. Order to pay a sum of no less than $2000 to any descendent of slaves, black or white. This shall NOT be be construed to allow payment to those who are registered MEMBERS of the Democrat Party, including Democrat Party voters-- who are aiding and abeting the evils of the party.
II. Official renounce each of the times their party went public with support of slavery, and therefore publically commend the Republican Party for their leadership in refusing to support the cause of slavery.
III. Delete any and all national legislation passed by members of the DEMOCRAT Party from the years 1844 (formation of the Democratic National Committee) until 1965 (when civil rights legislation was in place)
IV. Immediately remove any DEMOCRAT Party officeholders in the United States, federal, state, or local levels, who either:
A. Are the descendant of a DEMOCRAT elected official who supported slavery
B. Currently hold the POST that a Democrat elected official who promoted slavery once held, thereby profiting from an office that grew in power due to slavery.
Passed in Washington, D.C., by the 108th Congress, in the year Two Thousand and Four, January 1st.
