About 200 animal advocates, some armed with video recorders, went into the woods...You don't think they were stupid enough to wear black, do you?

O.K I'll say it. I believe in the right to arm bears.

I fought against this day for 10 years," Smith said. "One week of bear hunting, nothing's going to be solved. Come spring the bears will still be eating our garbage and still be walking through our back yards." I know a good way to fix this. It's called spring Bear hunting season.

Looks like the weather is gonna slow down the action this week. Much ado about nothing I guess.

One of the fundamental rules of bear hunting is don't go alone, go in pairs, and make sure you can outrun the other hunter. -Tom

On Friday, however, a federal judge temporarily closed the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area to hunters. Why? Because he supports the PETA-types or is there a legal question? I haven't seen any suits filed - just a bunch of POPs* running around looking like idiots.
U.S. District Judge Reggie B. Walton said he would decide Tuesday whether to extend the restraining order through the six-day hunt.
WTF??? ". . .he would decide . . ."? He's a judge for Pete's sake, not the royal lord of the manor. It sounds like he's inserting himself for no other reason than to flex a little muscle.
