Two top public officials went to Iraq in the last two weeks. One was President Bush. He was cheered by troops who expressed what appeared to be genuine affection for him. The other was Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, New York Democrat. She found it difficult to locate soldiers wanting to dine with her, according to some press reports.

It's possible, but you have to consider her efforts according to the field. The two Roosevelts were more than a bit liberal, although the first one had a pro-American foreign policy. Wilson seemed to think the US ought to be subservient to alien wishes. You had Johnson and Nixon. Both wanted to go down in history as the most liberal, and make it so no future president could ever reasonably take a run at the record. While I like the current Bush regarding his views on the courts and taxes, otherwise, domestically I'm searching high and low to find what is the conservative part of compassionate conservative.
I do agree that hillary will be among the most dangerous ever. Narcissists nearly always are dangerous to anyone that is not her (or him).
