MONTERREY, Mexico - The duet Air Supply was detained in the border city of Nuevo Laredo by Mexican migration officials after failing to provide documents to legally work in Mexico, officials said Friday. Air Supply had just finished a Thursday night concert as part of the city's annual carnival when eight agents from the National Migration Institute asked to see their work visas.

"The mexican Immigration people are on top of things, ain't they?"
They always have been, you flat don't go to Mexico and perform any form of work without a work permit and they are very hard to come by.
They don't mess around, they throw you in jail which is what we should be doing!

Exactly... however, this same nation actively engages in a policy of sending their undesireables here, and piss and moan when we try to stop the flood of illegals... that makes them hypocrites as far as I'm concerned...

I never dreamed there'd be someone to flail me.
But then you nailed me
AND NOW THAT I've BOUND YOU...
Even our fights are bet-ter
Now that we both wear leather.
Even our fights are bet-ter
Since I've bound you! (Ow! Ow! Ow!)
Even your face looks whiter
and it helps that you are a biter.
Even our fights are bet-ter since I've bound you!

MAN! This is what our immigration people should be doing instead of pandering to the freeking mexicans and every other special interest illeagal immigration support group out there.
mexico knows how to secure their border against undesirables. Pressing America to accept their wretched refuse is win win for them. They get rid of the useless people in their society, who then send zillions of dollars back to mexico.
What's not to want in that arrangement. mexico's ruling elite class (Fox et al) don't want to ruin a good thing. more illegal immigration, more more more.
And our government is complicit in all of this.

It's been about 20 years and I still can't get that darned song out of my head because they played it too much on the radio. So I reworked the lyrics a little. I forget what the title of the original song was.

More likely, someone in Air Supply's entourage neglected to pay La Mordida.

Hey were here in Phoenix a bit over a year ago. The wife and I went to the show and enjoyed it totally. They don't have the voice quality they once had BUT they are still good. My opinion is better than you opinion, so there .
