To: Protagoras
The card was sent out as a CHRISTmas Card.. it wasn't sent at Easter.

I don't think any of us who got it thought it was a "Birthday card" or an "Anniversary card".

The fact that they used "scripture" (and that he and the First Lady were the first President and First Lady to ever do that) and mentioned "FAITH" in it makes it pretty obvious it "is" a RELIGIOUS card.

QUESTION: Who is Job addressing?

ANSWER: GOD

It seems clear some people worship at the altar of the state and it's current leader.

No minds will be changed and the points made were lost on some. Oh well, Merry Christmas.

No, there's no mention of Christ or Christmas. It was a "holiday" card -- and the "holidays" include Kwanza, Hannuka (which isn't even a major Jewish holiday), New Year's and God knows what else. This is NOT a Christmas card, because a Christmas card says "CHRISTMAS". Duh.
