You didn't direct me to your post but I'd like to respond anyway. um...with all due respect, I'm not Catholic and Christmas is VERY important to me, CJ. To celebrate Christ's birth is BIG. Very big. I hope you weren't discounting the millions of Christians who aren't of the Catholic faith. :o)

I noticed he tried to be really mean to you. Don't let him bait you. He tried to bait me earlier too. I'm not going to play his game.

I hit the ignore button earlier .. and I'm going to stay away. Some people get into this kind of stuff, they love turmoil. You have enough on your plate with a son serving us in a time of war.

I guess praying for him.. really brought out the evil in him.

If I were a PC liberal, as you so humorously accuse me of being, I would excuse your nastiness by saying you were just a victim.....that your boorish, condescending behavior was someone else's fault.......your parents, society, life's circumstances.......

But being the good, solid conservative that I am, I place the blame squarely on YOU. It is your responsibility to behave like an adult, and not an ill-bred child. YOU have made the choice to be rude......

FYI, being kind and caring is NOT PC, nor the quality of a child, but rather that of a Christian. And conversely, being nasty to one of a different faith, and to those with higher values than you have is decidedly NOT the behavior of an adult, nor is it Christian.

Now, I will leave you alone, and pray that you see the truth presented to you on this thread.

Actually, dealing with the nasties around here sometimes serves as a diversion to the constant stress I deal with day to day in the real world.

And seeing how riled they have gotten over this lovely card is really quite amusing, when you look at it objectively.

I still wonder what kind of life one lives that this card from our honorable, and very Christian First Couple provides so much angst in his/her life.

It must be very dull and meaningless, IMO.

Thanks again for your prayers for my son, and I agree that we should keep praying for these poor folks around here whose lives are so empty.......

My husband and I have never been SO proud in our lives! And we are both so very thankful for this Commander in Chief. Words cannot adequately express how deeply we both feel about our President, and what it means to have a man of faith at the helm in these difficult times.
