She polls higher than the other Dem candidates because she has more recognition. But she also has high negatives that will prevent her from getting above 45% or so. I'd be thrilled to see her as the nominee.

You said it.

First thing is to deconstruct her. We just call her names and insults, we need to get into some serious deconstruction. For instance, when Russert was asking her a pointed question about being in Iraq undermining the Commander in Chief, she was laughing louder and louder, drowning out the question. So what you say? Well, we need to email anyone planning to interview her, write about her, etc, and point out this telling behavior. When paydirt is about to be hit with her, she tries to contemptuously drown out any criticism. It is a weakness,,,we need to find all her weaknesses and exploit them. Excellent observation!.....I think she laughs to make the question appear 'trivial'....that's part of her strategy!
I remember seeing her do that to Chris Matthews but unlike Mr. Potato Head...Chris just kept repeating the question!
I recored MTP but don't think Ill watch after reading how Russert "kissed her ring"!

**I'm going to hang onto that Estrich comment as if it's a lifeline. Estrich knows politics, and I can only hope she's right in this case.**
When did Estrich say that? I will agree that Susan Estrich knows her stuff. At first I was irked by her, but she redeemed herself in the California Recall.

"I think she laughs to make the question appear 'trivial'....that's part of her strategy!"
You are correct; Saul Alinsky, in his 'Rules for Radicals' lists 'ridicule' as one of the rules for fighting an opponent. The Clintons are masters at the game of ridicule (witness during the impeachment hearings), and we all know how much Hillary respects Alinsky.
"Ridicule is mans most potent weapon. It is almost impossible to counterattack ridicule. Also, it infuriates the opposition, who then react to your advantage."

**There was one response that caused a flicker in Wallace's eyes and at the time I thought - there's a Dean flaw or error that Wallace wasn't expecting**
I sensed this too. Wallace stammered and then couldn't quite get the question out. Wasn't Dean rambling about the gays, God, and guns?

**Advertising is a major part of the print media's support. If we cut into that support .. we might be able to cause them to soften their stance on Hillary**
It would take a lot of hammering on sponsors, but it could work!

My thought exactly! Start with a Dem power broker - then segue into hit after hit on Conservative mover/shakers until all of their names become useful for the C-SPAM seminar callers, etc.

"PROJECTION: Pronunciation: pr&-'jek-sh&n
Function: noun
Date: 1557...6 a : the act of perceiving a mental object as spatially and sensibly objective; also : something so perceived b : the attribution of one's own ideas, feelings, or attitudes to other people or to objects; especially : the externalization of blame, guilt, or responsibility as a defense against anxiety"
Thank you for posting that. I don't think that Hillary! believes the crap she spews. She's too shrewd. But Projection is her method. She's adopted the Communist strategies.

I don't know when Estrich said it -- but she has a pretty good pulse on all this.
CyberAnt, do you remember when she said that? It's a good one!

I don't agree she will be president .. mainly because there is a much larger right-wing media presence. I hope your statement means larger than maybe 10 years ago.
As far as TV, Fox has a 2.3% market share, the rest is liberal. In print, out of 500 major city newpapers, there's maybe 5 conservative. Same with major magazines. 95% of teachers vote democrat, and teach it in schools, 88% of media people vote democrat, and slant their news towards it.
I think it's safe to say that other than radio, the libs control virtually all of the media.

hillary clinton's bobbing-head movement is in fact bidirectional.
- When she is standing like a lump beside someone else who is enunciating a thesis she wants to take credit for, she quite consciously nods "vertically," i.e., in the affirmative.
- When she is lying -- that is to say, when she is talking -- she exhibits a seemingly reflexive "horizontal" (i.e., 'no') head movement that belies her very words.
NOTE: Just as Edwards is working on his reflexive lie-o-meter, blinking, so is clinton working on hers. Both the magnitude and frequency of her horizontal head bobs have decreased significantly recently without a concomitant decrease in her lies. (If anything, her lies have increased.)
You can see her bidirectional head-bobs in realtime here:

Dean's mouth is too small for his face. And he has those crazed looking little beady eyes. He is scary, looks on the verge of a nervous breakdown, the kind where you order the bombs to fly.
