Thanks for the heads-up, I just voted to keep FDR. Only POTUS that are deceased should be on coinage, in my opinion.

I'd like to see a Reagan
dollar with the look and feel of the British 1 pound sterling coin. He was a ten times better president than FDR so why not let that be reflected in the value. Let the democrats keep their lousy dime.
The problem with past attempts at a dollar coin is that they've been all but indistinguishable from a quarter! Make the sucker small but thick, soft to the touch and colored like gold, and I think we'd have a winner. Besides, I've seen it stated that if the dollar bill could be replaced by a usable and easily identifiable coin the treasury would save hundreds of millions a year, and somehow I think that idea would appeal to the Gipper.

I thought the individual featured on currency (and postage stamps) had to be deceased. In that case, why don't they wait to bring up this issue?

Frankly, FDR's legacy is only worth about a dime.
If we want Ronald Reagans face on U.S. currency, we should reinstate the $500 dollar banknote and put him on that; or maybe even the $1000 dollar banknote.
To: xrp
Reagan's likeness should be placed on a gold $1.00 coin. He's worth a whole lot more than just a dime...and that's my two cents.
