So if the president is assassinated, the assassin should be treated like every other murderer? Correct. It's what separates us from the thugs who run other countries.

Some dirt bag will probably make a rap song about this terrible crime.

It's a matter of priorities. Cops and prosecutors play on the same team. "Open season" on prosecutors is bad for business, so that one gets bumped to the top of the list, federal or state. Cops will go after someone who killed a state prosecutor, too, but federal just means that the FBI gets involved, too.
Killing a judge is probably stupider, and killing a cop even stupider, yet. Killing a witness isn't very smart, either.

Baltimore City is now a shithole and I am glad to be leaving here in a few weeks. The only thing that can save this Democrat Shithole is a biblical force.

Here's a link to the DOJ website for the Baltimore office. Check out the press releases for the lasr couple of years. They were pretty busy.

It's probably why we get so many presidents knocked off.

I thought so.
Perhaps before you take a name, such as, shall we say "Protagoras", you should find out something about him.

That was my point. Your life is worth precisely the same amount to me as anyone elses', including government employees'.
And, Killing anyone ain't smart.

If a president is assassinated more RESOURCES would be devoted to that case than if justshutupandtakeit gets bumped off and that is as it should be. A guilty finding could also have a higher penalty not because of any exalted status as you want to imply or claim but because a President or a federal Prosecutor's murder is an attack on ALL Americans.

I also know who George Mason was. I knew George Mason, and you are no George Mason.

Thankfully you are not in law enforcement. You honestly think law enforcement operates any differently? Got news for you, buddy.

I'm sorry about your low self esteem, it's not something you have exhibited in the past. LOL

Good law enforcement does. The kind with your type involved is sadly all to common.
And if you want to insult homicide investigators by claiming they all have your ineptness, do so in person and see if they agree.
I have about a half dozen buddies and two close friends who are homicide cops in Chicago, they might disabuse you of your erroneous impressions.

I have no problem with everyone being treated the same. I don't think the lives of government employees are more valuable than anyone elses. Sweet. Please dig deep in your pockets so I too can have a Secret Service brigade accompanying me everywhere. And uh, oh yeah, always have a brass band standing by to play "Hail to the Chief" whenever I enter the room.
Wake up, sunshine...ain't ever gonna be a world in which everyone is treated the same. That's a socialist's folly.

Maybe he is, and worked on the Richard Jewell/ Hatfield matters?

And if you want to insult homicide investigators by claiming they all have your ineptness, do so in person and see if they agree.
I have. And I likely will again. Got a problem with that? Tough.

I have personal experience with being on the receiving end of law enforcement investigations (state and federal) that have long since disabused me of your rose-colored nonsense.
But hey...you go right on believing the way you do. It's good for a cheap laugh.

Maybe he is, and worked on the Richard Jewell/ Hatfield matters? I'm not, and those cases are but two ready examples that illustrate my point precisely.

If it was an accident he should be given 3 years probation and 500 hours community service!
