A Los Angeles judge today threw out Barbra Streisand's $10 million suit against a California environmental group that posted a photo of the singer's cliffside Malibu estate on its web site. In a 46-page tentative decision, the summary from which you'll find below, Superior Court Judge Allan J. Goodman declared that the aerial photo's publication was protected by the First Amendment and, to boot, was not "highly offensive to a reasonable person." Swatting away Streisand's claim that her privacy was violated, Goodman stated, "As a matter of law, there is nothing private or personal" about the photo, a copy of which you'll find at right. Making matters worse for the performer, Goodman indicated that he is ready to award legal fees to the California Coastal Records Project and the group's founder Kenneth Adelman, who snapped the image which so offended Babs. "aerial photo's publication was protected by the First Amendment and, to boot, was not "highly offensive to a reasonable person."

Streisands comment back on November 4th : "A Sad Day for Artistic Freedom (Reagans) ...on her website she writes:"I don't believe Democrats often, if ever, try to muscle the First Amendment like this."

And the cherry on top.. (drum roll)...the judge is ready to award legal fees.

What's her big deal? She's a frickin celebrity! She doesn't expect that pictures of her house will be taken?!?

Anyway, here's another example of the left's obvious hypocrisy. Now, if it were Arnold's house, or RR's house caught on film, and later fought over in court, she'd be the first one "championing the rights of the environmentalists!"

It's just amazing that people actually take these people seriously.

No comments by Babs yet via her website..she may be out trimming her shrubs as she wrote recently:
"One man’s hobby is to fly around spying on people ... my hobby is gardening, caring for my roses, watching things grow! When I get upset, I go out and trim bushes. "

Babs definitely has a thing about Bushes.
