Barbra Streisand cried "censorship" when CBS lobbed its stinkbomb "The Reagans" over to Showtime, but she's the would-be censor. The Democrat fat cat tried to keep fellow millionaire California "environmentalists" from posting a photo of her mammoth Malibu estate on their Web site, but now a judge has thrown out her $10 million nuisance lawsuit. Not even babbling Babs "is above the First Amendment," the San Jose Mercury News noted today. L.A. Superior Court Judge Allan J. Goodman ruled Wednesday that Silicon Valley big shot Ken Adelman did not violate Malibu Barbi's privacy when he photographed her energy-guzzling mansion as part of a project to post aerial photos of the California coastline. "Aerial views are a common part of daily living," wrote Goodman. "There is nothing offensive about the manner in which they occur, nor in the manner in which this particular view was obtained." Compounding the slap at Streisand, the judge indicated he was ready to award legal fees to Adelman and his California Coastal Records Project. Streisand's fellow libs hooted in derision at her failed attempt at censorship. "This is a big victory," gloated Mark Massara, coastal director for Sierra Club, aka Club Sierra. "In the end, her lawsuit amounted to nothing more than a routine effort by yet another millionaire to prevent public beach access. The court was right to repudiate it." What? Babs doesn't own the sky? We can hear her shrieking now as she absorbs this news flash.
Better put her "on watch". Wouldn't want her to hurt herself.
