[history]
Have yourself a locked and loaded Christmas
keep your ammo dry
From now on our crusade will intensify
Have yourself a merry, gun-crazed Christmas
make those bad guys pay
Soon we'll all be shouting "Go on make my day"
Through the years we all will be together
for our final fight
Charlie Heston tells us it's our God-given right
So have yourself a locked and loaded Christmas Night.

That would be interesting, I don't know how it would be done, John does all the programming.

"When someone gets zotted your screen kinda flashes" LOL! I like that....or have a tiny little pop-up ZOT icon that will make a sound like a bug zapper. It could be turned on or off. There are some people around here wiothout a sense of humor and would complain if it wasn't a feature that could be disabled.
This sounds possible. I used to have a popup zapper on my old computer which flashed a small lightning bolt icon in the "system tray" when it "went active". Wish I could remember the name of the program - it came with a .wav file library so the user could customize it. I used to have mine set to "thunder", which used to disturb the cat quite a lot. :-) Perhaps some sort of browser plug-in could be fashioned to do something similar. Hmmm...

How about a special Christmas party thread, you know, to show our appreciation for all the laughs over the year? Sad part is, he won't stay for the party. So, we zot, he comes back, we zot, etc. If he'd reply once, maybe we'd let him stay for a while.

"I don't know how it would be done, John does all the programming." I know, but he's a whiz at it. It sure would be a fun toy though....with real giggle value. Just imagine, right in the middle of some really intense discussion on another thread, you hear this little "bzzzzztt" and a little fried troll icon pops up, very unobtrusively, in the corner of your screen. You just have to laugh thinking, "looks like the mods got another one." LOL!

And then allow the trolls to stay long enough for us to toy with them and join in the ZOTTING fun! Arriving after the ZOT is kinda like being invited to a barbecue only to find when you arrive that most of the guests have left and that the little bit of meat left on the grill is overcooked. Exactly! :-)

What made me think of it was the "squish" sound that you can set "pop-up stopper" to make, and it also flashes something in the tray when activated. I was thinking something along the same lines.

Great poem!
And a 'locked and loaded' Christmas to you, as well!
Good will towards men!
Good eye and straight shooting!
