True but the definitive bio on Reagan hasn't been written yet. I tried to read the Morris book but it was absurd the way he put himself in the book as a fictional character.

Streisand may not be completely destroyed, but her reputation is certainly tarnished.

You should have seen the way Babs made a fool of herself several years ago trying to answer foreign policy questions at some university. It was HILARIOUS!!!

I find it amusing that Hilary Rosen was the former head of the RIAA, and the chief promoter of "downloading is stealing".

She apparently has the liberal elitist mentality in spades:

We Democrats just want to help the little guy by confiscatory taxation. We bureaucrats have our hearts in the right place, so we can determine where your tax dollars are best spent. However, if the little guy crosses her bread and butter by "stealing" music that her monopolist employers refuse to sell at a reasonable price and in a convenient format, he's gonna get a dry rhino horn up the keester. ;-)

I don't know if anyone has brought this up yet, but I think it deserves a speculatory post all its own:

If the Reagans aren't out-of-bounds as living president and first lady, why should the Clintons be out-of-bounds for a simialr treatment? I mean, the Left would have a hard time arguing "the line".

Could you imagine the delicious screenplay for The Clintons? !!!!

Hillary winking conspiratorially at "Red" Bone: "Let it ride, Red! Oh, and you'll have to front me another 5 grand for the buy. But just keep it between me and you - after all, it's for the children."

I think the Left is seriously miscalculating here - after all, a group of college kids or enterprising conservatives could put a decent downloadable two-hour hitpiece DVD on the Net in a few months.

We'd get to see the Left's commitment to "free speech" then! :-)

The reason Americans are so upset with this production is not the content of the movie. The reason is that the movie's intent is so clearly in the realm of propaganda.

I found the answer to my question. According to NewsMax a little over a million people watched it, which can hardly be called blockbuster success.
