Sending prayers for the soldiers of the 3rd ACR as they prepare, and leave, on the last convoy out of Iraq, with special mention of Chris as requested. May God surround them with His providential care and bring them safely to their destination. Prayers said always with thanks and appreciation for the sacrifices made by our beloved troops and their families. May they all be reunited soon.

That's how I made the first 'connection' with you!! My Mother died in July 2001, I had spent 63 days with her in Houston.

For a long time after that, I would respond to anyone who had just lost a parent, because I knew the pain. We later discussed the Nasa Area and your Grandfather, and how desolate that area once was!!

Joining you gratefully in the beautiful prayers for the McNutt Air Force family - Samesha in Iraq, Kevin recently home, and for Chris and the 3rdACR troops coming home. Extending, as you did in prayer, special blessings for Tom and our 4ID troops, also on their way home, and ohioWfan's Eric, and a FRiend and friends, civilians also on their way to and from R&R, home and work, and one more special addition to the prayer list for Mudpuppy and the "B-12" family, Marines training up new Marines for God and country.

Thank you for the wonderful flower pics, TEX!

Bless our prayer leader and all who love and lift up our brave troops and civilian support staff in Iraq, Haiti, Afghanistan, and around the world.

Lando Lincoln has forwarded a prayer request to us. Apparently a young man serving overseas in our military has a gravely ill wife at home for whom he wishes lots of prayers. This is something we can do, Prayer Warriors!

BELOVED MERCIFUL FATHER ABOVE,

We place on the altar this day Gary's Cindy who has been diagnosed a few days ago with stage 4 cervical cancer. We do not know your plan for this woman, their little boy, and their whole family. We do not know fully the anguish this young man must be feeling, but we join him in his petitions on her behalf. Father, we ask for a complete and miraculous healing for Cindy. We ask that you will place your healing love deep down into that cervix and all the inner parts of this woman, and at a cellular and molecular level restore the divine blueprint for those cells which have started reproducing abnormally. Father, heal the original cause and core behind this illness, whatever it may be.

Bless and strengthen Gary as he carries the preoccupation of concern for Cindy around in his heart and soul while performing his duties as a fighting man. Father, grant him a special team of protection and comfort angels right now and in the days to come. Help him to rise to the challenges which are before him, both professionally and personally. Grant him the grace of special protection from any lapses or distractions which carrying such a burden could cause. Keep him safe, for no matter what happens with Cindy, he has a 5 year old boy at home who needs him.

We ask that all which opposes your divine Will for Cindy and Gary and their family is bound and removed and cast into your purifying fires. We collectively place our hearts and Vision together, and we SEE this young woman WHOLE, by thy grace and the intercession of our Savior and His holy angels.

We are grateful for this family and their service to our military, and we desire only your blessed Will to take place in their world. We ask that you will take this and all our prayers and let them be made perfect according to that Will. Let them be multiplied so that all who may be in a similar situation may also have the grace and healing. If there is something necessary to this petition which we have forgotten to include, please forgive the lack and provide for it despite our forgetfulness. We know that you are ever responsive and generous with your love toward your children. While we call forth and expect a miracle, as our Lord said in the Garden, "Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt."

Amen

Dear Lord,
We thank you for protecting our beloved soldiers and salute their bravery and offer our blessings for your protection.

We also ask you to protect and guide their families as they sacrifice while their loves ones protect us in faraway lands.

Heal the sick, warm the hearts of the lonely and may your light shine on every heart. We thank you for your grace. Amen.

This prayer request has come in from heylady:

"17000 from the 1st Cavalry at Ft Hood in Texas are being deployed to Iraq. My son, Gregory, left on Wednesday. Please remember all of them in your prayers."

MERCIFUL FATHER IN HEAVEN,

We gather together this day to offer our heartfelt prayers for and on behalf of Gregory and those 17,000 from the 1st Cavalry at Ft. Hood, Texas who are being deployed to Iraq at this time.

We ask for you to oversee the safety of their travel. See to it that all means of transport, all planes, ships, helicopters, cars, trucks, tanks, donkey carts, and roller skates that these men will be using while they are far from home will all be in perfect working order whenever they are used.

We ask that Gregory and each of these precious 17,000 will be granted one of our prayer blankets spun with the love and concern of our prayers and your own qualities of mercy, protection, love, wisdom, discipline, healing, and service. Let these qualities be granted to each of them in abundance according to the need of the hour. Ring each one with a team of angels to guide, guard, direct, and protect them. In addition we ask that you will cover Gregory and each of them in a golden chain mail impervious to all harm, whether at a physical level or at the level of the soul or psyche. Let these young people who have pledged their lives and sacred honor to this nation be kept safe from all which would seek to tear from them their lives, their health, or their peace of mind. We ask that the love and high esteem with which we hold them may be conveyed to them deep in their hearts so that they KNOW of a certitude that their work and efforts are supported and appreciated, despite the message the muttering and peeping forces opposed to Freedom may otherwise try to send them.

We are mindful that heylady's and Gregory's entire family, and the families and loved ones of the 17,000 are all entering into the difficult time which separation brings. Bless these families with your tangible Presence. Let them feel your divine touch and witness how you move in their lives, seeing to it that all needs are met as they place their trust in you. Grant them joy, comfort, and abundant Faith that all is and shall be well with them and their loved ones, and that ONLY your divine Will is operational in their lives.

We ask that our prayers be made perfect according to that Will. Please let the blessings and graces we want for Gregory and the 1st Cavalry from Ft Hood be extended to all who are serving in our military uniforms. Let it be extended to our allies. Let it be extended to all who serve in support or contractual roles. Extend it to those who serve in diplomatic or intelligence gathering roles. We are grateful for all who serve the Holy Cause of Freedom. Bless and keep safe these, your best servants!

Amen

Oh that's right! I believe we were both on a similar mission to comfort a freeper who lost a parent, werent we? I do have some very fond memories of the farming area that used to be what is now NASA.
