A claim that New York Sen. Hillary Clinton ventured beyond Baghdad's security zone on Friday to visit U.S. troops in the combat zone is being challenged by Fox News Channel military reporter Oliver North. North, who returned from Iraq on Thursday, was filling in for nationally syndicated radio host Sean Hannity when the topic of Sen. Clinton's Iraq trip came up.
"The media tried like the dickens to make the Hillary visit look like . . . a very courageous thing," the former Marine colonel told a caller.
Noting the claim by Sen. Clinton's press aide that she was "on a visit with a military division outside the security zone," North insisted, "Let me tell you something. Nobody, nobody, nobody, goes around Baghdad outside, quote, the security perimeter."
Based on the dubious account of her spokeswoman, Sen. Clinton was being credited with an act of courage by the European press, whose reporters drew comparisons with President Bush.
Saturday's London Times noted, for instance, "Unlike Bush, who never left the heavily secured military compound at Baghdad International Airport or the company of Americans during his two and a half hour visit, Senator Clinton headed out to meet troops, aid workers and Iraqi politicians."
Agence France Press also gave Clinton credit for the supposedly bold gesture, saying, "Unlike the US president, who never left the main military camp at Baghdad airport during his two-and-a-half hour stay, Clinton left the heavily fortified complex around the palace to go and visit troops."

That woman has only one thing on her mind - herself -
nothing she says or does should surprise us - yrt her blathering mouth never ceases to amaze me - I mean in absolute disbelief for her self serving left wing motives.

OF COURSE, IT IS FICTION. The same reason Hillary would be able to do such a thing (even though she didn't) would be the same reason the PLO will never kill Shimon Peres. It's basic you elevate, not decapitate, those who divide and moderate your enemy.
The Secret Service wouldn't let Dubya do such a thing. Also, W wouldn't because it wouldn't only threaten his life, it would put all those who provide security for him in the most extreme danger. It's ridiculous. It's like saying Tokyo Rose walked behind enemy lines, but FDR couldn't. It's a stupid, insane thing to say. Even more so, when it is most definitely a lie.

It would perfectly safe for any Clinton to walk any place in any terrorist sponsoring state. They know who butters their bread and would never touch them.

By HILLARY telling the Media that she went "Out of the Security Zone" she is typically not defining for us what that means. We hear it and suppose HILLARY went out beyond our regular Military Perimeter...
...when she knowns she's simply walking out of a meeting inside one of SADDAM's former Palaces.
...It's all in the Definition, or lack thereof,
...which the Friend of HILLARY Media allows this Enemy Within to get away with.
.."A Free Press that does not fulfill its Responsiblity in telling the American People "Just the Facts, Ma'am"...
...will soon lose their Right to do so." = ALOHA RONNIE-1999
HILLARY will see to that when she has the Power to do so thanks to a Lying by Omission American Free Press.

Huck Fillary.
I wonder who those troops would rather be with? Ollie North and President Bush or Hillary Clinton? I think that's an easy answer.

But remember Ollie, Hillary said you have to be honest, so she would never lie.

I want an investigation. Remember when Hillary concocted the tale that Chelsea was downtown on 9-11. These people lie constantly. It's really unfair to demand veracity of her, like Safire said she is a congenital liar.

Maybe this explains why the station that airs Hannity in my neck of the woods was experiencing technical difficulties that amounted to radio silence last Friday.

By the way, the palaces were strategically placed. they are very out of the way. By the way, when did Clinton walk thru the streets of cities with stiff Serb resistance. I don't remember that happening. When did he travel through the streets of Mogadishu? Funny, I don't remember him running with his fat thighs together in RPG alley. But, of course, he would fight and die for Israel.
At what point, do these people stop? They really are merciless and shameless.

There is a huge difference between a senator wandering around Baghdad and the President wandering around Baghdad. For one thing, we have only one President and he sets the course for the nation. We have 50 senators. If one wanders off, well, it would be tragic and we'd be P.O.'d but there are 49 more where that one came from and
national policy wouldn't be affected one bit. On the other hand, if we lose our President, the nation is thrown into turmoil.
President Bush would have been extremely reckless to leave the secure facility and go wandering around downtown. He's courageous, but not stupid.
(Note to the trigger happy: I'm not advocating the demise of a senator or implying it wouldn't matter. I'm pointing out the difference in impact between losing a President vice a Senator. Just thought I'd throw a little flame-retardant on...)

It becomes a bit clearer now. The newstations were making noise this evening about President Bush not venturing outside of the Baghdad airport. And there is our heroic Hillary, brushing aside all concerns for her safety as she stabs our policy in the back. I think I'm going to be sick.

A very happy thought at the end of the day. Hill has NO charm or charisma. Hopefully Steve and Sally Sheeple will be so underwhelmed with the Beast that they will NEVER vote her into anything.
To: Utah Girl
hillary has that impact on people. i think your state would need vomitoriums if the Beast visited Utah. Yecch!
To: CARepubGal
Hopefully she realizes that visiting Utah would be a big waste of time...too many Republicans here.
To: SandyInSeattle
I always thought that we had 100 Senators since the admission of Alaska, not 50. You know, two Senators per each State, 50 States equals...
Is it just me?
