"I think a hammer is coming down on her for campaign irregularities and when they open an investigation, she can play the victim, claiming that the only reason is because she was outspoken against the administration regarding Iraq."Gawsh, an interesting theory. And if true, allows her an escape via the sympathy route.

an interesting theory. And if true, allows her an escape via the sympathy routeThe 'Toons always have an angle; no telling how many contingency plans they have if this one doesn't work.
I have a daydream about the day when all options fail and they must escape to Europe and live off the offshore accounts; too bad it will never happen.

I sent Toespi's commentary/question up to Tom:
"Something is going on with Hillary, she has challenged the President in a competitive manner for the past three weeks. I think a hammer is coming down on her for campaign irregularities and when they open an investigation, she can play the victim, claiming that the only reason is because she was outspoken against the administration regarding Iraq."
This is what came back:
Gee, Lisa, your group understands the inside of the beltway politics. Nothing will keep her from being censured by the Senate. She broke protocol twice. You just don't do that in any American political system. To brake protocol is to embarrass the system and that directly embarrasses the people's pledged to uphold that system and that is why Hillary will be censured.
And I sent Kudsman's question up:
"5 Dem Senators? Thank goodness some of them are still patriots. Is there anything in the press about this?"
And this came back:
"Believe me, the Post and the Times will carry it in tomorrow's edition."
So let's ALL watch for the papers!

Patriots? That would be wishful thinking and we should all be hopeful that this is true. But, I think they are starting to understand the damage being done to their party by Hillary. Could the Clinton empire be ready to implode?
To: Toespi
Did you see my ping to the Whitewater, Arkansas, airplane incident last night?
And maybe the word patriot could be questionable depending on which senator's they were; but if they were Vets, I can't imagine them not seeing how inappropriate Hillary was.

Did see the Arkansas crash. Wonder what a statistical program would come up regarding odds of the deaths, airplane crashes, suicides, etc. surrounding the Clintons were used as data. I think it would be staggering. You are right, Dem vets could be the motivating factor. Thanks for the ping.
