A Bad Day at DU (Rolling on the Floor Laughing at the Poor DU'ers...) (OK'd by Jim)
DUH ^

Boy, Thanksgiving sure was a bad day at DU.
A thread about Bush's visit to Iraq
Another thread about Bush's visit to Iraq
A thread about Toby Keith's Halftime Show
Just for reference, so we know what kind of people we're dealing with, a poll conducted on DU
Another DU poll
I'm not sure if linking to DU threads is frowned upon or not, but these threads are too good to not share with my fellow Freepers. Comedy gold!

None of them are very well only educated.
You mean, "None of them is well-educated."?

Bumping for yet ANOTHER bad day at DU!!I just spent an hour reading on the dark side. The RATs are all over the place - some don't believe any of it, some wonder how this helps the Dean/Gore marriage, and others can't figure out why Dubya didn't hold this kind of info until after Christmas. They're trying to spin spin.
The place is pretty foul as well - the language shouldn't be read by kids. I'll be back after a good, long shower...

I find it so pathetic that these fools actually believe their garbage.

Naturally, the 'only' should be omitted; however, I would venture that the rest of that statement is properly phrased.
The verb can be either singular or plural in this case:
http://alt-usage-english.org/excerpts/fxnoneis.html
And while you can replace 'not very well educated' with 'not well-educated', you change the meaning of the sentence. The former connotes more a complete lack of education whilst the latter connotes the lack of an extensive education.

Has anyone seen their "30 Infraction Banning System"?
Apparently they feel some of the children have gone too far, and in true liberal fashion promise to do something REALLY horiible after 30 warnings.
(see "How we will break the culture of rule-breaking and incivility on DU"...I couldn't get it to link, but it's at the top of the forum main page at DU).

I wonder if any of the DU lurkers here know what happens when they look up the exact phrase, "Deeply saddened" on Google.com.....

Do you have any links to the most fun threads over there? I love reading the retarded conspiracy theories, but navigating there is too confusing.

And now, thanks to the soaring Dow and the sunken Saddam, the DU Christmas is swirling down the ole crapper, isn't it?

Amazing how they think the media is conservative!!! Are they nuts, or do they only watch cartoons? They could not possibly watch Rather, Katie, Jennings, et al and think this way!!!!
They are very upset over there. Imagine thinking capturing Saddam is a bad thing!!!!!
