I lurk over there , on occasion. I can only make it for a few posts before I have to leave. I feel so bad for these kids. {Most of the posts I read are written by kids. Some of them not even old enough to vote.}

Who was it who said if you aren't a liberal when young you have no heart. If you aren't a conservative when your old you have no brain.

I used to work with a few of these things. I wont call them folks or people because there way of thinking is twisted and distorted. They all looked likes dork and nerds and couldn’t punch there way out of wet paper bag.

I saw one time when a coworker received a mild paper cut on her finger in the kitchen and both of the male du'ers walked in an literally had to leave the room because of the site of a few drops of blood on the floor.

They both turned pale and almost got sick. It was really an eye opener. A grown man (?) acting like that I couldn’t believe it.

I think your paragraph on why the left is delusional is right on. I would also like to add a point to what you have already said.

The left has many orthodoxies based on what most would consider questionable beliefs. In order to keep themselves from being debunked, they tend to insulate themselves around others in protective environments; such as the universities, liberal think tanks, editorial rooms, etc.. It reminds me of when Nixon on in a landslide and a NY reporter said she could not belief it because non one she knew voted for nixon.

Charming people at DU. These threads are a must read for those "moderate" demos out there that hate Bush without knowing exactly why.

This sort of deep hate and vitriol has a way of creeping into the nation's subconscious, and I find it difficult to laugh at DU when they get this wound up.

This was the first opportunity I had to experience DU. It is far more pathetic than I anticipated. I was, however, enlightened by the knowledge that Willie Nelson is supporting Dennis Kucinic (likening him to Wellstone). It is somewhat heartwarming to see excruciatingly unattractive people attracted to one another -- kind of the liberal thing to do!
