We did not charge hundreds of miles into the heart of Iraq, pay a bitter cost in casualties, defeat a brutal dictator and liberate 25 million people only to retreat before a band of thugs and assassins. great words at a great time-- should be a bump for the troops in the region, and a blow to the Baathists thugs and assasins. I am glad he go that line from the Whitehall speech into this one that many more Americans will see.

Happy Thanksgiving to you too.
And a great Thanksgiving it is.
We have a lot to be thankful for, including that we have such a great President, who has been effective in keeping us safe, and is working on making the world safe from terrorists.

The C in C
lays it all on the line for his troops. The guy must clank when he walks. What a risk to take for the men and women we depend on.
What a statement to make to all our enemies...

Now there's our fine President GWB showing his heart and soul again.! He is wonderful. He knows how important our military is and he backs it up with his actions.
As for that gutless, cold wench over there, she is just there for "ammunition."
Happy Thanksgiving

That too. Great observation. This sends a very strong message to our enemies: foreign and domestic.

If Bill Clinton could've borrowed a set of balls from Hillary and somehow managed to somehow pull off a coup like this, you can bet his speech would've had about 4-5 times the number of "I's", "me's" and "my's". Just the writing style alone differentiates the two administrations. The current President is concerned with his job, its responsibilities, and the people it affects. The previous White House occupant was concerned with the applause and self-gratification he thought was automatically his due for sitting in the Oval Office.
Clinton was a narcissist. Bush is a President.
