On November 21 Hits Daily Double reports that top sellers would be Britney, Blink-182, and the Beatles...but with the early release of the Dixie Chicks Top of the World the chart picture could change dramatically...
On November 26 Hits Daily Double has all the numbers in..and Britney, Blink-182, and Beatles sell 300k to 600k in sales. Dixie Chicks who in the past never had trouble topping the charts now come in at may 100k for their 1st weak of sales---so much for hitsdailydouble's prediction that the Chicks new release will change the chart picture.

The DixieChix always sucked (musically). Their political remarks show that their judgement and reasoning is also flawed.

I like some of their music...but I really don't want to know their thoughts about anything. I listen to music to be entertained...when they start to spout off about various anti-American beliefs they have they cease to be entertaining.

At first it was... I like to hear them and their music.
Then it was... shut up and sing.
Now... it's just shut up!

The DixieChix always sucked (musically). I disagree. They had and still do have musical talent.
As long as they shut up and sang I enjoyed them. After the third insult I baked the chicks.
Have you seen what happens to CD's when they have been baked in a hot oven? They look like big silver potato chips. I sent 'em to my local country station in protest.

A friend of mine who listens to country music told me she likes listening to the oldies and after listening to the oldies, people like the Dixie Chicks just make her want to scream.
Anyways I started listening to some of the music of Johnny Cash, Conway Twitty, Loretta Lynn, etc and I had to admit I finally understood what she meant. After listening to the rich toned voices of these oldies and people like Alan Jackson (who sings in the style of the oldies) just listening to the high pitched voice of Natalie Maines is like listening to someone scratching a chalk board (this was all before their controversy).
