Well, I seem to have caught up to myself, so I want to thank now Aeronaut, for almost always being first to post in the Canteen each day.

That symbolizes something to me. It is about vigilance, and dedication. This reminds me of our Troops, whom I have come to so appreciate during the last few years. It is because of Yatch man, LindaSOG, Kathy, and definitely Snow Bunny. There are so many more that I have come to truly appreciate, because thay have shown me what it means to be thankful for something, and to some persons.

Please excuse me if my post seems disjointed. It has not been rehearsed.

I have come to appreciate the Canteen, in ways that all might not appreciate at first glance. I stumbled upon this place because I met LindaSOG on another thread, and at a different time, I also met Coteblanche likewise. These two women sepArately led me to what has become the most important site on the Internet as far as I am concerned.

I have seen a number of people come and go in this place. All of them are contributers to this fine little enterprise which is solely designed (as I see it) to uplift morale for the troops, their families, loved ones, and associates, as well as veterans, and all sorts of persons who have a concern for what our troops do for us. Thank you all Canteeners, past, present, and future.

Most importantly, thank you Troops. I have finally come to appreciate just what it is that you do for me. Thank you all!

Thank you sir, for your kind words to me. I just happen to be a morning person so I have the opportunity to frequently get on first. I have no "hang-ups" about being first or being #50, or #100, or whatever.

I just happen to think our troops are the greatest people on the face of this planet and deserve our unconditional support.

I had occasion to frequent USOs when I was on active duty. I know what it means, and I want all actives, veterans, and supporters to know that I highly regard your contributions.
