Explosions in Riyadh?
None yet ^ | 11/24/2003 | None

An acquaintance of mine online just said that he's hearing lots of booms in Riyadh. He knows it isn't thunderstorms and there shouldn't be construction going on right now (night). Anyone else hear anything?

Well that's because you're way out there in California. I'll stick my head out the window here in Durham, NC to see what I can hear...

I wonder if this has anything to do with the rumor that the King died last night.

SHHHH! If you put your ear to the ground, you can hear the rumbles here in Cupertino!

Either that, or it's the nearby rock quarry.

Nope, nothing here. I thought I did hear some thumping getting a progressively louder, but that was just some wigger in his tricked out Ford Escort (thump, thump, thump...)
