Lefists might sue Army over music.
I'm guessing that some of their attendees were leftists driving north towards home after creating a ruckus in Miami a few days ago.

Well gee whiz! Here the Leftists keep telling us they're patriotic and all that...but when they have patriotic music played to accompany their anti-American diatribes, they get all bent out of shape?
Well, I guess that shows how "patriotic" they really are.

Army and protestors in battle of the sound systems.
It was an Army's wife's idea.
Smartly, they say the point is to cheer up troops on base. If they had said that it was to demoralize the leftists, the threatened left-wing suit might have been filed.

SOA Watch, which conducts the annual protest against the Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation, called the move a "psychological operation," and said it planned to file suit against the Army. Ok. Like their protesting at the gates isn't meant to be a "psychological operation"?
Besides, I would rather hear God Bless American than those shrews any day.

Sued over Sousa.
Why not have the Army Band pratice near the gate?
I think they would love that. (the band, that is)

Four protesters were arrested after they entered the post, a Fort Benning spokesman said. Arrested? IMHO, they should've been shot.

Protest leaders and musicians found their speeches and performances accompanied at times by "The Army Song," "God Bless the USA" and other songs. ROFLOL!

"There's a lot of ill will being caused that's not necessary," said SOA Watch founder the Rev. Roy Bourgeois. "The closer we get to shutting that school down, the meaner they get. We see this as a form of psychological violence.""They won't give us what we dictate, so we're really getting mad. They're poo poo heads! They're not doing what we tell them. It's not fair!"

Those Commie s**ts TRIED to create a ruckus in Miami, but Chief Timoney kept the streets pretty quiet hehehe;)

Bravo to Fort Banning.
I hope the next time they turn up the music even louder. :)
To: BillF
SOA Watch attorney Bill Quigley said the group may file suit ... accusing the Army of ...abusing its power. And what power would that be? 110vAC? A few minutes ago this asshat wanted to make noise, now he's a fan of peace and quiet... let him go home. No doubt he's still sponging off Mom and Dad like all these fine Dean supporters.

Sweet:
As protest leaders took to the stage with speeches and music, Fort Benning blared anthems and martial music from loudspeakers positioned just inside its gates, about 50 yards away.

"McDowell said the four arrived at Fort Benning's Interstate 185 checkpoint and identified themselves as protesters. They were told to make a U-turn off the post. When they didn't, they were pursued and caught by post military police, who turned them over to U.S. marshals." Those suckers better not try a stunt like that at night. .
