Funny how all the nasty South and Central American nations that the US Army School of the Americas supposedly taught oppression to, evolved into democratic republics. Doubly funny that in many of those lands (Ecuador, Bolivia, El Sal to name a few) the most popular politicians have been the guys who were supposedly the oppressive generals.

(Seriously.
