"Why can't they say it?" Because they believe in placating the enemy and have absolutely no intention of continuing the war on terror.

Massachusetts Sen. Ted Kennedy called it an "attempt to stifle dissent." If it stifles dissent, it's only because it embarrasses the dissenters.

What's more is they long for the return of the support we had in the days following 9/11 (a masochistic stance, in my view).

"Don't question our patriotism." To which we should reply, "what patriotism?"

When Teddy lies through his teeth, he should expect the record corrected.

Their patriotism to self is quite clear.

Re:
"Don't question our patriotism." I always thought that those who whine about their own lack of patriotism after 9/11 didn't have enough *before* 9/11.
To me, and most conservatives I know, a patriotic response after 9/11 and into today is not only natural, it is WELCOME.

Little Tommy used to be deeply disturbed -- now he is a full-blown quagmire.
To: areafiftyone
If it repulses Tommy, then it is very, very good. Keep it up, RNC.

For once the RNC had the balls to go up and stomp on the bees nest. Judging by the coordinated response I would say they are expecting ads like this. I think the ad is very effective and the Rats know it.

They are all bizarre looking. Edwards looks like a Ken doll, Kerry looks like Lurch, Dean looks like a ventriloquist dummy especially when he smiles and Wesley Clark looks like a weasel!
