Radio KFWB 980 in LA broadcasting "Muslim Call to Prayer" and in need of some SERIOUS FReeping

I had just left Lenscrafters in San Bernardino and was enjoying my new bifocals and a nice cold Coke when something happened that made me spew my coke all over my dashboard. KFWB broadcast a MUSLIM CALL TO PRAYER complete with the Imam wailing away and some local Muslim cleric explaining thet it was a call to prayer for Muslims. Guy then goes into the standard spiel about how Islam is the "most tolerant of religions" and respects other religions and Jesus and we all worship the same God etc etc. And we all know what a crock of lies that is.

This happened just before 5:00 pm today and it sounded like they've been doing it all through Ramadan.

To each his own but I went to their contact page (link below and above) and shotgunned everyone on it with my feelings about them hawking Islam (Ramadan or no) and enlightened them with the TRUTH about Islam and I encourage everyone who feels the same to do the same. Hehehe! I turned 48 today and I was actually listening at the moment KFWB went "all news all the time" a long long time ago. Did not listen to them again for a LONG time. Actually really liked their news and format until they started doing sportscasts and Islamofascist propaganda. No more for me unless they grow brains.

It's a free country, and they are entitled to broadcast religious calls to prayer if they want to. I'll write to the management to thank them for their programming, and will tell them to ignore the bleatings of knuckle-dragging bigots.

While I don't enjoy turning on my radio and hearing the Muslim call to prayer, the last I checked this was still a free and pluralistic society founded in part on the notion of religious freedom.

In Istanbul and Riyadh, a desperate Al Queda has turned to blowing up Muslims and further alienating themselves from the moderate adherents to Islam. We only help Al Queda when we display hate and intolerance toward the Muslim faith and its adherents without discriminating between those who are our allies (or potential allies) and those who are not.
