Did anyone see the show on the History Channel about the archiving of the Zapruder film?
"Image of an Assassination"
Saturday, November 22 @ 8am ET/PT
On November 22, 1963, Dallas dress manufacturer Abraham Zapruder brought his movie camera to film President John F. Kennedy's motorcade for his grandchildren. As it turned out, Zapruder captured one of the 20th century's most important documents. In 1997, two media companies created a digital replica of the original, which is presented here, along with Zapruder's business associates, photography experts, and National Archives employees, who piece together the history of the crucial 26-second film. TV PG-V
It was very interesting. The most revealing part was that the frames that claim to be the Zapruder film are cropped copies of the original (1/3 to 1/2 screen).
The best part of the film is that the "fatal" blow when Kennedy's head explodes is cleary shown traveling from the side of the limo - grassy knoll area.
The "expanded" version or original version of the film included the trajectory of the bullet which could not be indicated on the cropped photo version.
Please view programs - it is very clear.

Here's another one: WC is an entirely appropriate abreviation for the Warren Commission.
I'd choose him for the role of patsy (which was done).
Ever figure out how he could make down the 6 flights of stairs, be outside the building, and be arrested 1 min 20 sec after the shootings, and not be out of breath?
And there you have the explanation why the test melons went backwards... hit them low and glancing... and they spin backwards (top toward shooter). A head, connected to the body by a neck, would not react in such a fashion.
Er, rightof, LHO was not arrested outside of the school book repository... he was arrested later at a theater... supposedly after shooting a police officer.
And let's be accurate. The testimony was that LHO was standing, cool and collected, at a Coke machine, buying a Coke in the SECOND floor lunch room, when the police officer encountered him on his way up the building. That would be only four flights of stairs in 1 min 20 secs.
Right, a head would have less freedom to spin and thus the entire head moves with the resultant vector - in the direction of the shot. You just can't shoot somebody from one direction and make their body move in another without some bizarre bank shot.
What are your thoughts on the video of the Vietnamese General shooting the captured Vietnamese in the side of the head with a hand gun (lower velocity)-- shown on tv several times.
The victim's head moves in the direction of the bullet - I don't recall a snapback in the opposite direction of the bullet.
I'm stuck at the right turn.
Question 1: Why take a right turn when the show
was over. Driving straight into the plaza directly
to the triple underpass is the only logical route to
drive for me.
Who is the idiot that OK'ed the right turn?
Question 2: Oswalt missed his first shot shooting
though trees at 88 yards. Why not take the first
and only shot needed straight from the 6th floor
window before the last left turn?
Look at the first picture above a blind man
could make the shot 25 to 30 yards at the
most . But still "The Great Oswalt" scored
ZERO on his first shot. Oswalt Sucked
at one shot one kill.
Question 3: Why would the US Government seal
the peoples records for 1 day if there is
nothing to hide? Something like 2027 all
of the records will be released?
Was anybody fired for not doing their job that day?
Interesting view to a kill...
Interesting view to a kill...
Death of Julius Caesar
Caesar was murdered outside Pompey's
Theater on March 15, 44 B.C.
(Ides of March). For the first time
in Roman history, a living man was deified;
in the process, the man himself was lost to history.
yeah, That's the whole point.
A bullet isn't meant to deliver momentum to the target; it's meant to deliver energy. And it's the delivered energy that causes the hydrostatic shock.
Skin and muscle tissue is resilient: it bounces back after the shock; brain tissue escapes through the largest opening: the exit wound.
And it's the momentum of the escaping brain tissue that caused the movement to the rear.
.......It is a mass with simple inertia and anything it hits moves in the same direction - not opposite.
Yep,.......no such thing as,...'whip-lash'.
Delie Platza was full of pigeons and turkeys that day in Mal-lus, Tx.
/sarcasm
Which is more credible? LBJ's character alone precludes the former. The evidence that Oswald killed anyone is pretty damn shaky (absence of prints, power residue, verifiable witnesses, etc.).
One: the transfer of energy causes a change in momentum. Basic physics - anyone who has used a rifle observes this.
Two: for the "escaping brain tissue" to cause motion, the head would have to be acting like a rocket or a balloon. The tissue moves in the direction of the bullet because the bullet has imparted energy to move it in that direction, and the whole head moves as well in that direction. When material escapes from an exit wound, it is NOT acting like a rocket. It is a collection of material moving along the 'momentum path'of the bullet.
You are describing a physical impossibility.
Do you have any understanding of what causes whiplash-type injuries?
They occur in rear-end MVCs (motor vehicle collisions) when the driver of the car being hit does not properly use the headrest. When the collision from the rear occurs, the car is accelerated forwards rapidly. The torso of the driver's body, secured by the seat belt and forced by the car seat, is also rapidly accelerated forward. However, without a proper headrest, the head remains stationary while the body moves forward. This gives the appearance of the head snapping back when actually IT IS STAYING STILL while the body moves forward. Before the era of headrests, this resulted in a broken C2, C3, and/or C4 vertebrae and killed the driver.
Now for this to have happened with Kennedy as seen - the car had to be suddenly accelerating from 10-15 mph to 50 mph like in a rear-end MVC. But Jackie doesn't snap back so that's out. The other possibility is Kennedy getting hit in the left rear shoulder - but his torso isn't driven forward, so that's out.
you're not good at it.
and Luis Alverez agrees with me.

The Pristine Bullit Corp. makes a series of pristine bullits,...
........ called, "Whip-lash Mags"., for special 'far-out' pigeons and turkeys.
(Money back guarantee if no 'Whip-lash' occurs.)
:-)

Ophiucus shows a lot better grasp of basic physics than do you, Oztrich.
The bullet imparts some of its momentum to the mass of the head... in the same vector the bullet it travelling. The bullet also imparts some of its momentum to parts of the brain, some at different vectors, all of which will be between 0 and <90 degrees from the vector of the invading bullet. Many of these brain parts will strike other brain parts, imparting part of their momentum to the struck parts, overcoming their inate inertia, further attenuating the energy transfered to these parts... which will, in turn strike other parts, and so on until the entire energy is shared by all parts in some way or another. This process can be described as a wave of force moving through the material. If the bullet stops in the skull, it has successfully transfered ALL of its momentum to the head.
By your logic, the bullet, after passing through the head, would have the same tendency to propell the head backwards by the opposite and equal reaction... that doesn't happen... nor does it happen with the material to which it has imparted energy.
If Luis Alvarez agrees with you, please have him post the math that proves the "rocket powered by brain mass" theory.
