And the record shows (I'm not claiming firsthand knowledge--just the record) that the blood on his shirt was "smears" and plainly visible to the naked eye. No, the officer who collected it did not see it when he took it as he said Bryant had the shirt tucked in and when he was given the shirt he put it in a bag and delivered it to evidence, then later observed the smears with his own eyes. I say bleeding that results in smears is more than normal bleeding.
