BERLIN, Nov 21 (AFP) - Michael Jackson's mother hinted at a racist motive behind the pop icon's arrest on multiple child molestation charges, a German magazine Friday quoted her as telling it.
According to the online edition of Bunte magazine, Catherine Jackson told it that there were two interpretations of the law in the United States -- "one for whites and one for blacks."
She suggested he had been tricked. "I wonder whether somebody could have set a trap for him and hidden false evidence in his house."
But she said he was doing fine and was optimistic. "He's not worried because he's innocent. He is very strong."
She herself, however, was hit hard. "It's all very hard for me. After all, I'm his mother."
Jackson, 45, was earlier released on bail after turning himself into police following multiple counts of child molestation that could put him behind bars for years.
He said through aides that he was "outraged" by the charges, which were a "big lie," and vowed to fight them in court.
Bunte also quoted his father Joe Jackson telling its online service that it was "crazy" that on the very day his new release was to appear, police should raid his ranch.
"He is a strong boy. Don't forget, he's my son," Jackson said.
He said he did not think the latest allegations would end his son's career, as he had too many fans and friends worldwide.

There are two interpretations of the laws of the United States---One for blacks and one for whites.
Then somebody should have told this to OJ Simpson!

According to the online edition of Bunte magazine, Catherine Jackson told it that there were two interpretations of the law in the United States -- "one for whites and one for blacks." She could be right. Perhaps that explains why OJ Simpson is a free man and black jurors are likely to acquit any black accused of anything if the case is portrayed with a racial component. I want to believe she is wrong and that all Americans can rise above that and do justice independent of the color of skin or the fame of the prince. I want to believe that.

Racist, I am not sure he is of the human race anymore. Much less black or white.

Racism! Micheal went from a good looking young, black man to an ugly little white woman (by his own choice and money, I might add). But racism? I'm afraid that turd won't stick with white or black people. If it did I expect to see Jesse, Al and Johnny by now.

Well, if they are going to play the "race card", Michael better order a Tanning Bed.

Oh geez!!! Every time a black guy is arrested there's a racist motive? If the children Whacko molested are white, is that racism too??

Odd time for her to sound off on hate crime legislation. The kid, Gavin, looked Latino to me.

On this case , I don't beleive we should be jumping the gun.
If you don't think there are over -zealous D.A.'s with a vendetta, then you are mistaken. he may very well be guilty , but he may not. I would hope if charges against me were false , someone would have the decency to hear out the case before passing judgment.

Now, now, be patient. Give the guys time to finish milking the latest herd of self-hating white liberals. Then they'll be available to tell black america how to think.

"It don't matter if your black or white" - Michael Jackson
He even made a video.
But it's better (emotionally) for his mom to inject the race card rather than admit to herself that her son is quite possibly a child molester, I would imagine.
His new album? I saw it at Best Buy yesterday. Nothing new there, just a greatest hits compilation. The covers have different versions of him in various stages of dance. Most notably, I thought, was his "Beat It" outfit. How ironic.

If's she's worried about racism, maybe she should wonder why a son she raised paid out so much money to try to look white. He destroyed as much of his racial features and natural looks as he could.
