The President had a busy day in London today, with a visit with Laura to Westminster Abbey, and a wreath laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior, a meeting at 10 Downing Street with Tony and Cherie Blair, a joint press conference with the two strongest leaders in the world, and a visit to a London school for a Shakespearian production by the children for the First Ladies, and a tour of the Faberge items at the Queen's Gallery at Buckingham Palace.
There are more than a hundred photos out there today, and even with culling a bit, I will be posting many!
Enjoy your (massive) Daily Dose of Dubya!!

Blair is magnificent. He is Bush's Churchill! Both nations are so blessed.

I did the same thing, Gretchen, when I saw her tagline. Yes, Elijah List sent me that too and I've sent it on to my two prayer chains. May God surround him and his family and the Blairs with a legion of warrior angels today and tomorrow especially. Thanks, Gretchen. xxx

He's comfortable with the queen or with the street cleaner. He's a man for all times, isn't he? What a wonderful man to be president.

I finally gave up on staying blond, which was nice, but let it grow natural and you know, it's great. Everyone likes it. Even me. So, don't worry, go au naturel! (smile)

Snow? LOL!
My youngest was just complaining because the high temps for this weekend here are going to be in the 60's, and she thinks it's time for it to start snowing!
I don't think most Ohioans agree with her! :o)

I totally agree with your 'favorite' pictures. The one where all their arms are around each other going in the door is SO symbolic of the support they give each other, IMO.
And the Queen......well, I think our President has brought out a side of her in public that rarely shows. She looked beautiful! President Bush just elevates everyone he's around, doesn't he?
And about that past person in the WH.....we didn't HAVE a First Lady for 8 years......period!

I guess the formal event is called a 'Reciprocal Dinner' and was held at the Winfield House in London, the residence of the U.S. Ambassador, and is a standard part of an official State visit to England.

I will be praying for our President today and tomorrow as I do every day, because he is, and will be in danger every single day of his life as a result of his strong stance against evil.
I'm sure it won't hurt to have more prayer tomorrow from those who don't regularly pray for him, but I'm not one bit afraid for him. He will be with us until God's mission for him is finished, and will not be removed a single day sooner, regardless of any human intent.
It is God who is Sovereign, and HE can't be controlled, nor His will overridden by ANY human behavior, whether they be good guys, or bad.

Amen to both of you!
The uglier they get, the more our President shines. What men have intended for evil, God is using for good in his life.

Well, apparently God IS warning intercessors of a special danger to him right now so we have to take that into consideration. God's letting us know. We need to obey. M

That's right. God chose Him for a time such as this. I thank God often that Algore is NO MORE and that he didn't get the presidency. He would have soiled his britches on 911 and he'd still be hiding under the desk.

Mary, we need to obey God's word and the Holy Spirit within us to uphold him in prayer today and tomorrow as always. Nothing else.
I'm not trying to be difficult, but we don't have to obey intercessors. We have to watch them critically, as compared with God's word given directly to US.

Yes, and they're REAL men who don't back down in the face of evil. That's what makes them both so special. Can you imagine what it would be like with Gore in there now? He'd be waffling back and forth so much it wouldn't be funny. It would be disastrous for this nation. Thank God he lost. To which I can only say, Amen

These intercessors are not flakos. They hear from God and I'm willing to listen. If they're saying to pray, I'm going to pray. They come from all over the world and all are getting the same message. I think it's worth listening to them.

I'm not saying we have to obey intercessors. I'm saying we have to obey God who is speaking through his intercessors. If Dubya is in danger, I want to know about it and I want to be sure I'm praying.
