Webcam of Trafalgar Square. When's the Protest Begin?
Trafalgar square webam ^

Here's a webcam view of Trafalgar Square. It updates every five seconds, so you might need a lot of bandwidth.

Dude! Where's my protest?!

Interesting that the webcam seems to have pulled in on the only possible angle that gives the appearance of a crowd. I see a few hundred people, tops.

The ENEMY is right out in the open, on the streets of the capitals of Western Civilized Democracies.

We may need to adapt our overseas arsenal to police in this disgusting bunch.

I'm not even sure it's that many. I saved one of these pics and couldn't count more than a hundred.

Maybe the wealthy corporate leaders of America finally wised up and stopped buying their unshowered children airplane tickets everytime they ask.

The camera has pulled back again, exposing a lot of empty street. I guess when a nation's embassy gets bombed and the ambassador gets killed, it puts a damper on public support for the bombers. (Sorry if my terms aren't technically correct. I'm still catching up on the morning news)

Give 'em a good old fashioned American finger for me please.

Sorry I walked away from our Matrix talk, with a week of those posts then three days at a convention I'm pretty much geek-talked out. I'm hoping my batteries recharge in time for Return of the king.

Sheesh, I would think there would be more people in the square on a "normal" day. Yet the media is still pumping up the pro-terrorists gathering as a major event.

Hopefully FOX will tell it as it is, a measlily group of pro-Saddam supporters.

Sorry I walked away from our Matrix talk

LOL, hey. I had made up my mind that my last post was my last one on the matter. Literally, you had exhausted me ;-) It was a really good discussion though (IMHO). I like a good debate. You never gave up your side, I can respect that.

For the most part, the demonstrations here in the North have been more a joke than anything else. I had lunch with my wife in the university district yesterday. I saw preparations for the demonstration but given the final numbers, I dare say the police and curious on-lookers made up a hefty portion of the process. I was out shopping in the city center at about 4PM and only saw one overt protestor on Princes Street. So, the demonstration was more a university sideshow than anything.

(Hey, and for what it's worth, I have my own gripes about the Matrix films based in part upon your arguments and certain press releases from J Silver and other cast members. I don't in any way view that debate as having been won by one side or the other. You gave me much food for thought)

It was a great discussion and got me annoyed that I couldn't get enough pros synched up to have a Matrix panel. I did some informal polling of the pros and the opinion seemed to be evenly split, oddly enough the more tightly the pro in question was tied to the movie industry the more likely they were to agree with me and the further away from Hollywood they've kept their career the closer they were to your opinion (not counting the snooty authors that have a general disdane for movies, their opinion never counts). I'm not sure what the implications of that are.

Glad to see the peacniks are losing steam, hopefully people are seeing the truth behind their BS. See ya next time.

I've had this site up for a while now...

They have stopped cycling through the different position and are only showing the one with the most people on it.

This protest is a sham and a dud.

Priceless.

Here is an eyewitness report from a blogger in London:

"This protest march has just gone by my office window - the length of the column was no more than 25 yrds............but it will be reported by the media as 'massive'."

....read the whole thing.

It looks like a sizeable percentage is either security, bystanders or media--what a joke!

The media is like the King who wore no clothes. They just keep reporting their anti-American Left wing propaganda as more and more people seek their real news elsewhere.
