The Episcopal Church, as it is currently organized, is doomed.

2 Corinthians 6
14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

The most Christlike thing for conservative Episcopals to do is walk away from the property issues en masse, without lawsuits, and rejoin the Anglican body.

1 Corinthians 6 addresses the lawsuit part of this issue: v7:"The very fact that you have lawsuits among you means you have been completely defeated already. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be cheated?"

Don't worry about the property; read Hebrews 10: v34:"You sympathized with those in prison and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property, because you knew that you yourselves had better and lasting possessions"

Fretting over having to do this is addressed in Luke 9. v62:"Jesus replied, 'No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.'"

My heart breaks reading this story, but not for what you might think is obvious. I am saddened to read that so many of the brothers and sisters in this faith are so emasculated by thier fear of loss of mere possessions or wealth in standing up for Godly prinicpals and values. That is the control that the liberal left side of this sect wants the people to believe, that feaqring the loss of their favorite churches, parishes, or even pensions is of a higher value than doing what is truly right.
