Washington - Nevada conservative activist Janine Hansen is the first to say she is no Democrat or liberal, but she also complains the Bush administration has gone too far in eroding privacy and civil liberties with the Patriot Act and other anti-terrorism measures.
Hansen, president of the anti-feminist Nevada Eagle Forum, backed up her complaint Thursday in Reno by stepping forward as a featured speaker at a three-city announcement launching the Nevada Campaign to Defeat the Patriot Act.

Nope. Two things, I don't hate Republicans or Democrats. And I never claimed to be a conservative.
Particularly since the things embraced by so many so called conservatives here make me puke.

Looks like you peeked your head out of the smoky back room long enough to do a search for anything with the word libertarian in it so you could spew a little more hate. LOL

That's right . If they've got nothing to hide, what are those whiners complaining about? It's only criminals who worry about their so-called "rights"Scariest post I've read in a while here at FR.

Scariest post I've read in a while here at FR. I'm guessing it was a sarcastic reference to the whacko whos' post was being replied to. I may be mistaken though.
I promise you there are tons of Freepers who think that way though. Many are right here on this thread.

LOL! I notice how some of your people like to go into the sexual innuendo thing.
Is this a manifestation of an impotence that goes beyond your political failures?

I don't know how long you've been a conservative, but look at the list of people in this article and tell me that they're a bunch of hysterical lefties!

Libertarian Party is a joke. And commenting on articles that you haven't read should be taken seriously?!

Re: Your #25. A little vigilance goes a long way. How did the creeping erosion of freedom get this far...?! Because every time more laws are passed for "the public good" there is a chorus that shouts down any protest.

So you don't know about "sneak and peek" and "know your customer" rules? I guess not, since you didn't read it. But you have a good plan, they can do whatever they want as long as you haven't read the whole code it's ok. Pitiful.
-----
I take it from your comment here that you HAVE read it. Please cite me the section of the code in which the "sneak and peek" and "know your customer" rules are spelled out in the U.S. Code. I'm not trying to be funny or anything. I'd like to know so I can go to it and read it for myself just like you did. That way we can talk specifics instead of generalized titles such as these. I would appreciate any help you can give.

Like most people, I've been a conservative in my own personal affairs all my life, but in my early years I fell for the DemocRATs line because my parents voted for them without fail. When I started voting in the Presidential election of '76, I too, towed the D line. Again in '80, but by the time '84 rolled around, Ronaldous Magnus had convinced me that I was closer to the Republicans than the Dems. My Dem votes have been very few since then and I don't see that changing for a LONG time.
I never accused the people in this article of being hysterical lefties. They do seem like the hysterical righties I've heard though! Anyway, this article is about Libertarians bolting the Republican party. Since when did Libertarians want Dubya to be President anyway. I don't expect them to agree with ANYTHING he does because they don't want him to look good. Makes no sense that they would. They want their candidate to win. Or they should anyway.

The amount of people rushing to give away their rights is astounding. It's easy to picture them accusing people of being witches in old Salem and cheering the dunking tests.

The amount of people rushing to give away their rights is astounding. Yes, but less than the number who want to TAKE away others' rights. Many on this thread fall into the latter catagory.

The difference is that we support liberty and smaller government even when Democrats aren't in power. You people gotta win elective office first. And I'm talking about federal and state offices, not administration posts for villages out in Buttcrack, Colorado.
