[history]
The 12-year-old boy at the center of the Michael Jackson child molestation scandal may have confessed to his psychiatrist that the pop singer plied him with wine and sleeping pills when he allegedly molested him, according to sources.
The boy has also hired Los Angeles attorney Larry Feldman, the same lawyer who represented the family of a 13-year-old boy who made similar allegations a decade ago, the sources said.

XXXXX DRUDGE REPORT XXXXX MON MARCH 03, 2003 16:52:09 ET XXXXX
Jordie Chandler's sex claim case never went to trial was in part because his family said they were intimidated, harassed, and threatened, not solely because they were paid reportedly in excess of $25 million.
At the time, Jackson had private detective Anthony Pellicano working for him. Pellicano was intimately involved in trying to negotiate with Jordie Chandler's father- whom he accused of extortion -- and in discrediting the accusers.
Orth tracked down reporter Victor Gutierrez in Chile, author of Michael Jackson Was My Lover: The Secret Diary of Jordie Chandler, who claims that Pellicano told him, "Consider yourself dead!"
Gutierrez says that after he was beat up on the street by three men, Pellicano stopped in his car and laughed. Pellicano was arrested by F.B.I. agents last November after they found explosives in his safe "strong enough to bring down an airplane." His lawyers declined to comment to Vanity Fair.
Impacting...

No...not feel sorry for the family...just illustrating the types of 'helpers' Jackson has. They don't play nice apparently. Actually, I wonder if any of his aides/assistants would also face criminal charges? I mean it is not like Jacko could just walk into a Walgreens unnoticed to get sleeping pills...or would his 'staff' not be aware of the sleepover arrangements? Maybe other will also be charged...

I was wondering where that link was going as i clicked on it...ROTFLMAO!

If true he is the worst kind of scumbag.. The boys's mom and dad are not too far down on the scumbag list.

I mean it is not like Jacko could just walk into a Walgreens unnoticed to get sleeping pills...Well, apparently if you hire the right maid...

But Michael was a JW, and there was some "notoriety" he got out of his name michael.....wish I could find it, because it sounded at the time like they were ready to declare him to be the 2nd coming.

Wine and sleeping pills?
Can't be. Hannity had interview clips today where jacko assured us that he only gave them milk and cookies while tucking them in.

Not only preying on a boy, but a DYING boy? This is evil.

At some point last spring, the boy's schoolmates apparently aware of his relationship with Jackson began taunting him in public. In one case, an incident of harassment is said to have occurred at a gas station, prompting the boys mother to seek legal advice.Every thinking person knows what type of "relationship" is likely to result from close contact of a young boy with the accused. Why would the parents permit it?

God bless this little boy.

Your response has a wonderful mystique to it ("It's been said MJ knows these shadowy types"), but why couldn't they just apply for a passport like the rest of us and have Jackson pay for some lavish vacation? Thank you (blush)! It's true, tho, why not just go to the post office and fill out a form like everyone else? Perhaps their was some need for their identities to be altered? Naah, Jacko is super normal and on the level about everything (sarcasm).
Why the need for these heavy handed handlers? Usually when one peels an onion, each layer gets softer and more tasty, but this onion ain't peelin' so nice...

It's so easy to pile on and be sure Jackson will be convicted. For the record, I suspect he's guilty and would never let my kid near him. If my child'd life could be saved no other way, that's a tough call although you'll all deny it.
On the issue of a conviction, I see plenty of grist for Geragos' mill. The child was supposedly under the influence of wine and pills. A crime to give him those, but are his memories reliable? And the family seems to have come forward because they were being harassed by other kids, including ata gas station? The other kids' harassment is not evidence of Jackson's guilt. The methods used by this psychiatrist to "extract" the kid's memories will also be a main issue.
I hope the case is open and shut, but it might not be.

**Sadly, according to my source, the health condition of the boy involved is still in jeopardy a situation that should add to the melodrama of an already shocking and headline-making story.**
Prayers for this family at this time and during this legal process.

Maybe they needed to jail Pellicano before they could be assured of cooperation.
To: GovernmentShrinker
This sounds too much like a law and order ep I saw where the family put the child in harm's way to gain financial security....
Where were the parents? I say again that MJ may fry in hot oil and I don't care but where were the parents?

Ok, I hadn't heard that MJ was/is a JW but very little that deals with that cult would come as much of a surprise to me.
