When will Hilary Throw Her Broom Into The Ring??
11/19 | bray

Posted on 11/19/2003 9:05:55 AM PST by bray

Since we all know she has to run to maintain power and she obviously has picked the date, I thought it would be fun to have a Pool guessing the date. Winner gets a date with either The Wicked Witch or Janet Reno or chug a gallon of Sulpheric Acid??? This is obviously a gender neutered prize!

I am picking January 17th. It is a few days before the State of Union, where she can hog the camara and get the Rats going nuts over her. Time will be too short to get stuck in any real debates or asked any questions from PravdABDNC. Finally it is the anniversary of the Paula Jones Deposition

Pray for GW and Truth

I thought the filing deadline was past, and she missed it? I think she's saving her broom for 2008.

If she does, it will be the day before the state of the union address. I'll take the sulphuric acid...with a splash of soda and a twist :-/

If she runs it will be because the party is forcing out Dean and asks her to save them at the convention. Or, Dean will have an accident just before the convention.

Like any other animal in the jungle, the beast can smell danger. She will not be fooled by bias based rat psy-ops polls that show her near W. She laughs at those people privately, I'm sure. The beast will take a pass this time around.

I don't think she will run, if she does, it will be right after the NH primary shows the party is in disarray. This is what Bobby Kennedy did...

The similarities between she and Bobby are pretty eerie, former administration heavyweight, carpetbagging senator in New York...Bobby entered the race when Johnson looked vulnerable in NH.

Yeah, but if she missed it, she missed it. She might try some sort of tactic, but I am pretty sure she won't be able to make it turn her way.

Then again, if she ran in this upcoming election, I have a feeling she'd get squashed like the bug she is. This may push her out of politics pretty effectively. She's popular with her base, but not much beyond that.

Yep. This is the party that, in the last weeks of the election, overturned the results of a primary and substituted a new canidate for governer. They will absolutely change the rules any time they feel like, even post-convention.

Following my own logic, I want 2 days after the NH primary as my date in the pool...

I'm pretty sure it will be 2008. The reason she keeps showing up at these election media events is to disrupt the other candidate's appeal to the left-wingers. By sounding more shrill and further to the left of the candidates, she creates a good platform to the communists, and forces the candidates to follow suit or be upstaged. Basically paving the way for a massive Bush win. She seems to be gambling that there will not be a strong Republican to follow course in 2008 and it will be an easy ride.

Unless we could recruit Condolezza Rice. She would be the only viable candidate. Problem is, the subsequent implosion of leftists might physically damage America.

I think the question might be phrased:

When DID Hillary start running?

70's? 80's??

To answer this question we would have to know the day her and Mr. Hillary made their pact. Bill got to be Prez first then it would be her turn.

Oh, she's gonna do it, and it will be sometime after Iowa, NH and a few of the other primaries when no clear dem winner emerges. Let the record show:

April 1st, 2004

If she usurps the 9 clowns of the Evil Ennead, she risks alienating their supporters. If she supports them all throughout the culling process, then she stands a chance at the Vice Presidency with whoever is left standing.....or a shot at a bigger position than the presidency in terms of longevity and overall influence — an appointment to the Supreme Court.

There's still too many variables and the Clintons don't like taking chances with elections. If things go bad in Iraq, another terrorist attack in the U.S., the DOW crashes,etc..., she'll get in. If the economy continues to improve, Iraq improves, and they catch Hussein or Bin Laden, she'll stay out.
