I don't really care about Michael Jackson.

But it's going to take more than some accusation for me associate him with NAMBLA as some have done here. I hope those who would convict first and ask questions later watched at least some of the TV show that refuted some other smear job from a year ago or so.

I don't trust the press to tell me what is going on about anything anymore, except for sports and weather; and anything includes Michael Jackson.

Consider this: you may be in denial, just like all my Santa Ynez Valley neighbors who are so sure these charges are false, they allow their children to hang out at Neverland.

I worked at Atascadero State Hospital, chock full of sex offenders, and Michael Jackson is a classic pedophole. Of course because of his money, MJ entices victims with a ferris wheel instead of a mini bike, and a chimpanzee instead of a puppy.

For all of you that I've seen on these M.J. threads defending him, typically, I understand various opinions. But whether you personally believe M.J. is guilty or not, his profile is classic for a pedophile. I hope you please take a moment to recognize these characteristics if you HAVE children.

He refers the interaction with children be termed “a special relationship”

He displays a fascination or unusual interest in children

He makes frequent references to children in exalted or exaggerated terms such as “pure,” “innocent,” ”God sent,” “blissful” and other descriptive labels that seem inappropriate and excessive.

He has hobbies or interests that commonly belong in the realm of a child’s world such as toy collecting, building models of cars or planes. His home or room is decorated in a child’s theme. And often, that theme will reflect the age bracket of his preferred victim.

He is over 30 years of age, single and has few or no friends his own age.

He has systematic and prolonged access to children. Pedophiles, because of the wide age disparity between themselves and their victims, cannot just hang around children. The pedophile has to find a way to legitimize his contact with kids.

Pedophiles are also very adept at locating troubled or withdrawn children. This is a skill they have acquired through years of trial and error. They have come to identify what usually works and what usually doesn’t. The most common technique used by pedophiles to obtain sex from children is the seduction method. This process is very similar to the classic boy/girl courtship. Though the child might be under 10-years-old, the pedophile will lavish gifts upon the target, take him or her to amusement parks, museums, restaurants and other places of interest.

You've got that right. Case in point, Terri Schindler Schiavo. The mainstream media has repeatedly lied about that case. And how much have we heard in "the news" about the treason of the Senate Intelligence Committee?

Even the weather gets more accurate coverage on FR than on TV. At least you get it from the people that are there.
