....it's unfortunate that censorship got involved. There was no censorship here. The viewers just warned CBS that they were about to piss off a few million viewers. The suits at CBS heeded that warning, and handed it off to be shown by one of their sister companys.
CBS, although they sooo' wanted to drag poor Reagan through the mud, decided it wouldn't be prudent in a business sense.
Nobody got involved with censorship, common sense won the day.

This piece of crap turkey will never make it to DVD, will it? Babs could donate a copy to every school in the US if she wanted to! And then teachers could have a visual aid for a "history" lesson. You bet it will go to DVD.

Hot diggity dog! We're having an impact. The leftist socialistic un-Americans are taking notice. I can hardly wait for the impact to begin hitting H'weirdo and its un-American films and the celebrities that star in them as in the H'weirdo Boycott List. The A-List of stars will find themselves relegated to the F-List. Anything they star in will BOMB. My anticipation is at a high. Wish we could help Judge Roy Moore. Any chance of us affecting leftist SCOTUS and other liberal judicial court systems?

Let's keep up the effort! The cultural war is not over - we've just won a few battles.

FreeRepublic IS a Committee of Correspondence on an international scale. And it works just the way the original ones did, as planned by Jefferson and others in a tavern in Williamsburg, Virginia. That happened shortly before the Royal Governor of Virginia disbanded the legislature because it was getting out of hand -- no longer controllble.
The Committees of Correspondence included a number of citizens who had been elected to the legislatures -- like Jefferson's group in Virginia. But they were acting as private citizens when they formed the Committees because they were acting outside and beyond their commissions as legislators -- whether or not their particular legislature had been disbanded. Communications were not supposed to be made from Colony to Colony without going through the Royal Governors and with their approvals.
