I was born, and grew up in Terre Haute...trust me, things like this do happen there...it has a long history of unrest, although this seems a little over the top...although folks were a little upset when Michigan State beat ISU and Larry Bird in the 1979 final...

The next step in this progression will be that Jews are just too much trouble, Jews bring problems wherever they go, don't defend Jews, don't support Israel because it only brings problems. They will (and do) blame the persecuted.

KKK in Indiana?
For years it hosted the largest number of klansmen in the world. It actually elected a governor in the 1930's. And I remember my (very racist) uncle telling me there are still parts of southern and central Indiana minorities are unwelcome (if you get my drift).
