[history]
As the strains of "America the Beautiful" fell over a crowd just outside, Gray Davis took one last walk as governor down a long hallway to the Capitol's west steps, where on a cool November morning, his public life ended abruptly at 11:20 a.m.

davis made fun of Arnold, saying that if youre going to run for governor of California you should be able to pronounce California correctly. Arnold then replied that if youre going to be governor of California you should be able to govern it.

They found a copy of the Bible in Sacramento? How do they know? I'll bet there's nobody in Sacramento politics that can prove it was a Bible. There are plenty of Christians working in Sacramento, though the hedonists are in the majority. Most of the Republicans in the legislature are not just good people, but really solid conservatives.

Leftists only *wish* that Davis' career would be over.
From now on they will wince everytime Davis is seen in public, and they will regret every Dollar that Davis raises from Democratic fatcats. He's their anchor, now (and not in a good way).

It was a rhetorical statement. Hyperbole. But, you're right. I stand corrected.
I was wondering how long it would take. :)

I agree. I think the dims are going to distance themselves from davis for some time...at least until after the 2004 election. Even then...will they want to be reminded of his gross failure and the memory of Californians kicking his ass to the curb? I think not.

He ain't worth killing - or wounding - or bruising - or even bothering. Gray is fading, fading to black....

Good riddance.
No bias in the media at all when it came to all those last minute appointments. Kind of like those despicable mines left behind by slick willie.

Davis, 60, facing the Pacific and dressed in somber black...Guess that's better than a tie-dyed T-shirt and headband..isn't it?

Oh I don't know. Davis always looked like an alien to me in the et sense. Maybe the mothership will be passing by to pick him up soon.
