Speaking of Frankfurt and the Frankfurt cell...
Didn't the "domestic terrorist" suspects who were arrested in Las Vegas back in Feb 1998 at the height of the Clinton-era crisi with Iraq have something to do with Frankfurt? This was at a time when Clinton was supposedly "preparing us for war," as the Weekly Standard put it... against Iraq because it had refused to allow inspections of presidential palaces. anyway, right when the US congress voted on authorizing Clinton to use force, this anthrax criminal case pops up out of nowhere. (Not unlike the 2001 crisis with IRaq where anthrax popped up when we were taking some hard looks at Iraq after 911.)
Anyway, the "alleged domestic terrrorists" had supposedly been telling everyone that Iraqi students were saying the US would suffer a huge attack- a bioterror attack, within two years. (This was in Feb 1998 so this precedes all the anthrax hype of the post 9/11 period.)
These two guys had apparently been going around giving anthrax vaccines to people. (Or at least telling people they were getting vaccinated for it.) Indeed, they had anthrax vaccine in their possession, though who got the shots is not fully known.
THey were turned in by an informant and other things were found, though ultimately at least one guy got off for insufficient evidence. Both probably got off.
One of the men had a typical Taliban beard though both were billed as white redneck supremacists. Both were caught in Vegas - same place the 911 hijackers and other al Qaeda visited before 9/11.
And one of the men had a bioresearch lab in Frankfurt, Germany as well as some related business in the US.
I wonder if there was a lot more to those guys. Up until that anthrax scare, the Clinton admin was talkin tough on Iraq and even had the support of congress it needed if it had to go after Iraq over its violations. But after the anthrax case hit the news, the Clinton admin pretty much handed the Iraq dispute over to Kofi Annan, who made a deal with Iraq. I have to wonder if those men were soemthing more than just aryan nation kooks- only one was once a member of it. Could the Clinton admin have been successfully blackmailed by Iraq into backing down?
The Clinton admin would not do anything which would jeopardize their opinion polls, and a bioterror attack would definitely send shockwaves throughout the nation's economy which would be difficult for a campaign to overcome. It's clear that the Clinton admin downplayed every act of terrorism and arrest, including downplaying the Millenium Plots at LAX and in Jordan, the foreign angle of the OK City bombing, the Centennial Park bombing in which one guy was falsely accused and which is now blamed now on a dead guy, and the aircraft incidents of both Flight 800 and Egyptian airlines, etc?
Might the post 911 anthrax mailings just be another attempt by Iraq or al Qaeda to repeat a possible Feb 1998 blackmail effort which if it occured, appeared to succeed? Or was it just one German biotech businessman and a one-time Aryan nation nut acting in isolation from outside influence?
Back then I bought the domestic terror claim, but that was because I hadn't seen reports - and these are posts which predate 9/11/01- which mentioned the men's testimony and that of others which said they had been telling people about Iraqi sleeper cells poised for an attack in 2000 befor ethey were arrested. Looking at them now I seriously doubt the case was as cut and dried as we have been told.
Anthrax trivia for you... was there more to the Feb 1998 Las Vegas thing than we were told?
Isn't it odd that Hatfill was targetted for investigation by Rosenberg because he wrote a book on bioterrorism? Well, so did one of these guys. One of the guys sounds an awful lot like the way Hatfill's been described to us.
Plus, ties to Las Vegas where the hijackers also had ties, and even a lab in Frankfurt, Germany, home of one of the al Qaeda cells.
And their case too turned up in a time of increased crisis with Iraq.

The media stereotype of all domestic terrorists is that of the angry, White male. In most cases, nothing could be further from the truth (certainly the Washington, D.C. snipers wouldn't fit that bill).
In particular, the two terrorists to whom you are referring were members of the Aryan Nations. These people all subscrbe to the theory of ZOG. ZOG is the Zionist Occupation Government, i.e. the Jews run America from behind the scenes (gee, where have we heard *that* tripe before). The Aryan Nations is strongly associated with neo-NAZIs. Most Aryan Nations adherents fly the Confederate Battle Flag alongside the NAZI swastika (interesting sidenote: swastika is farsi - "swas" mean good and "tika" meaning luck or cross; farsi is also the language of Persia).
But wait, there's more. To gain favor with Hitler, the nation of Persia changed its name to Aryan (as in, Aryan Nation). In farsi, Aryan is spelled Iran. Hence, this is how the nation of Iran came into being.
Fast forward to today, and you've got Taliban-style bearded adherents of the Aryan Nations running around with anthrax while flying the NAZI battle flag swastika.
Could it get any wierder?!
