I "feel your pain" that Ashcroft won't prosecute them, but I have come to the conclusion that whatever came out would be so damaging to the country that the GW whitehouse CANNOT do it.
Thbat is the only thing that makes sense to me.
It just has to be a crusial reason somewhat like that scenario.
And my prayer is that IF the worst was to happen, i.e. she got nominated, that those "in the know" would stand up for our country's protection.

I went to Syracuse to have my pacemaker checked this morning and E. Genesee Street was covered with "Bush NO" signs in front of the lovely old homes there. Don't they realize they can afford to stay in their homes because of a good Bush economy? The dems will take them away and make apartment houses for poor folks. Urban blight has ruined E.Genesee Street already. It used to be the classiest section in the city. How sad.

I lived on the west side till 8 years ago, it doesn't look like the same place any more..

My husband was brought up on South Street before it became a slum. He tells me how beautiful the homes were back then and we can see what it looks like now. Syracuse used to be a thriving, industrial community.
