[history]
November 15, 2003 -- Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein gave terror lord Osama bin Laden's thugs financial and logistical support, offering al Qaeda money, training and haven for more than a decade, it was reported yesterday.
Their deadly collaboration - which may have included the bombing of the USS Cole and the 9/11 attacks - is revealed in a 16-page memo to the Senate Intelligence Committee that cites reports from a variety of domestic and foreign spy agencies compiled by multiple sources, The Weekly Standard reports.

Rockefeller is a nihilistic ideologue, a fanatic. He's cynical and dangerous.
He is no American.
He should be expelled from the Senate immediately.

This is from the New York Post, NOT NEWSMAX. The journalistic difference is gargantuan. So, chill already.

That's too bad. He must be asleep or something today....
Heck, I didn't get up until 11.

Right...The NY Post actually attempts to be accurate in their reporting here instead of saying this proves for sure Saddam was behind 9/11.

The
Weekly Standard broke the story today. FoxNews is running the story every 1/2 hour. NY Post picked it up and it is spreading across blogs, but... nothing on the Time Warner monopoly (CNN, Headline News, CNN.com, etc., etc.). I'm sure the 5th Column is hesitant to run it, but I'm not sure they'll have any choice as momentum builds. This is a 2004 Democratic Party killer.

Another terrorist, Hassan al-Turabi, was said by an Iraqi defector to be "instrumental" in the relationship. Dr. Hassan Al-Turabi is a political leader in Sudan. He has been interviewed on Frontline. He came across as a very intelligent and even likable guy with a sense of humor. Frontline did mention that he has been called "the Pope of terrorism".

Here's a conspiracy theory for ya. This story was carefully timed to break the weekend before Rush Limbaugh's return to radio---so he'd have something really fun to talk about his first day back :)

I wonder if this is just the tip of the iceberg, part of a plan by Bush & Co. to shutdown the dems for good by releasing bombshells like this running up to the '04 election. Yes, Rope-A-Dope/Dem Time is over!

So whaddaya think, will the NYT run this in one short paragraph on page A6? Or will they just run a story about the stray dog problem in Queens instead?

Hopeful.

I already posted this to a few other forums on the net...guess what the response from the democrats were??? " Yeah right, why don't you find something else better to do with your time...this is b.s." Same thing they said to those who cried out against Stalin's murderous tyranny (and Mao's, Castro's, etc.).

Not only that, but remember people like Maddy Albright have been running around saying no link to Osama and Saddam. Some of us have been posting for months the media stories from the nineties showing such a relationship existed or was strongly suspected of existing, yet NOW she and others deny it.
The truth will out, though. The truth will out.

The democrats crossed the line, they endangered out troops to gain political points, and they've sunk the intelligence committee as a bipartisan, national security above all, working commission. It's going to get real ugly out there.
