One thing is certain, This is a worldwide problem. The sooner the world community admits it the better.

Ralph Peters, "Hidden Unities: Alternative Strategic Divisions," July 2002.
http://www.ceto.quantico.usmc.mil/papers.asp

This is a very long article Ralph Peters wrote last year. One of the things he writes about is Europe, and just because they are pacifistic now doesn't mean that they will stay that way.

As I said a long article BUT with much food for thought.
(note, it is a pdf file..boo)

The problem is that for the last 25 years the Cult of Islam was allowed to grow and murder innocents with impunity.

NO WORLD LEADERS, in the US, UN or even the Pope, condemned them, and if they did it was couched in a kind of victimhood, claiming that the policies of Israel and the US were to blame.

There was always a vague distain at the brainwashing and suicide of their young people, but for political, religous, or plain fear, no one in a leadership position tried to stop them.

Until George W. Bush. He has refused say what he feels about Islam, but his actions have spoken. And with time, the radicals may become unacceptable.

On 9/11 the Cult of Islam overplayed its hand. It is all downhill from now on, hopefully.

If those who actually blame the perps, and not US policy, Bush or Sharon, (us), can keep our views front and center, and shout down the leftist press, here and worldwide, the debate can be won.

"And also, this concerns Israel because many of its citizens go to Turkey and could have been in the area."

It concerns us all. These are humans being blown up. This is a war of religions, time for all to recognize.

But can he really do anything. It happened in Turkey, not in Israel or the West Bank.

Every time a terrorist attack happens anywhere in the world, Sharon should drop a daisy-cutter at random somewhere in PA-controlled territory. And I mean, on a mosque. I know it's a savage, vicious thing to say... but let's face it. We are fighting savage, vicious people. I don't think we can round them all up, cut off all their avenues of escape or supply, or kill them all. Nor can we give them what they want since what they want is to dominate the world, and giving them Israel will only whet their appetite and convince them that they are on the road to complete triumph. All we can do is make them not want to do this anymore. We can't teach them not to want their goals. But we can teach them that this approach only moves them further and further from their goal. If their goal is indeed to grant control of all Israel to Palestinian Arabs, all we can do is kill Palestinian Arabs in very large numbers. Either they'll stop, in order to prevent all the Palestinians from being killed, or we'll kill all the Palestinians and start in on the next group (probably Syrians.)

Think Turkey just joined the war?

If it were mosques blown up, definitely. Since its synagogues, I dunno...

I'm furious.

Al-Qaeda will be sorry it decided to make Turkey its battleground too.

I'm sorry for everyone who is losing loved ones to this evil perversion of terrorism. All around the world, the culture of death is trying to destroy the rest of us. It takes many forms, but it can't possibly win unless we listen to the people who tell us we're not "tolerant" enough if we don't let it have its way.

Actually, I believe that Turkey and Israel have a pretty good relationship. I doubt these murderers are homegrown Turks, meaning someone entered Turkish borders to murder Jews. That should upset any host country-to be used as a playing field for terrorism..

On the contrary, I suspect this is going to wake up the Turks, and make them realize who their enemies really are (Hint: it ain't Israel, or the U.S.).

Well, I hope so, anyhow.
