If you have something that qualifies as BREAKING NEWS or FRONT PAGE NEWS, please post it on a separate thread in that category in order to give it maximum exposure and then post a link to the article/thread here so that it will be included in the next update of links. Also, if you post links to articles from original sources and there is also a thread on FR, please link to the FR thread. Okay, here's some info for those who want to watch Oprah this afternoon. It looks like Terri's case is going to be covered, but probably only as part of the show, they show other stories along the same theme, so it looks like it's not the full hour on Terri.

Since Oprah is a syndicated afternoon show, what time it airs varies from city to city. There is a page on her website where you can type in where you are and it tells you what channel and time it's on in your area (although you may have to figure for yourself what CABLE channel that translates to):

If for some reason that link doesn't work, go to her home page, www.oprah.com and click on the link on the left side margin that says "The Oprah Winfrey Show." On the next page, there is a small link that says "Local Listings," that's the page you want for your schedule.

Also, you should know about Oprah's "After the Show" show. This is DIFFERENT than the main show in the afternoons, it is more informal bantering with the guests after the main show is over. It airs the same day on the Oxygen cable network, at 7:00pm ET, and repeats again at 10pm ET. Don't know for sure if they will cover Terri further on this After Show, but it's possible.

Harpo is a mindless handwringer from way back. I think she will support Michael's "love" and "promise" not to let Terri suffer or have her right to privacy "violated" over her right to life.

That or she will be wishy washy non-committal.

Hope I'm wrong. But I really don't expect a total abandonment of pathology from her.

This right to privacy has become a witches den of death into which even those who didn't volunteer to go there can be dragged. Why isn't the denial of Terri's right to life, and right to not be treated cruelly, at least as "presumptively unconstitutional"?

I think we need to put heat on the Senate to go nuclear, so there are no more filibusters over judges.

Baird said Terri Schiavo's right not to be kept alive artificially was successfully defended by her husband in state courts, and any delays in removing the feeding tube so she can die are violating her constitutional right to privacy.

"The deprivation of this right is immediate, ongoing and presumptively unconstitutional," Baird said from the bench.

Well, this says it all! Greer has been upheld by Baird, and Terri will be dead by February, I suspect.

At this point, it looks like the judges have decided Terri MUST DIE before they can be proven WRONG. They are conspiring to KILL the best evidence of their corruption before it's exposed!

Since Baird has stated this he may just grant Felos the immediated remedy he wants prior to the hearing. Felos has demanded this again and again that the g-tube be removed now before further hearings.

This does not look good.

Years ago, I heard Father Malachi Martin on Art Bell claiming that up to ten percent of the population were fully possessed by demons. At the time, I thought he was just another nut but now I'm not so sure.

That does cover it. This is the fruits of the made up fictional "right to privacy" brought to us by Roe v Wade. Be it abortion, euthanasia or hastened death, the issue is not the quality of life of the victim. It is that the perpetrators don't want themselves burdened with caring for the afflicted.
