Oh, do I remember! Talk about two gorgeous girls! To quote Steve Martin: "...the time I spent holding that poster up with one hand!"
Here's a link to Amy Sax's web-based business:
Goddess Beads
Back to the issue at hand, if this was a PSU student, I want them found and tossed. Tossed from Rec Hall to Bellefonte if possible.
Don't F*** with the Shrine, and don't call for the death of our President, you lib/muslim jagoffs!

something tells me that if this is indeed a true threat, the lion is somehow a clue.

re post no. 28: "Any reason behind the date 12-10-03?
Been searching, haven't found any serious link yet, although the USS Cole attack was on 10/12/00 and a Bin Laden video tape was found on 12/10/01 claiming credit for 9/11."
===
http://www.historychannel.com/tdih/today/1210.html Well, I read an article about a better type of dynamite developed on this date in history and went over to the history channel - "this date in history" and saw this (SNIPPET):
(1898) "On December 10, the Treaty of Paris officially ended the Spanish-American War. The once-proud Spanish empire was virtually dissolved as the United States took over much of Spain's overseas holdings. Puerto Rico and Guam were ceded to the United States, the Philippines were bought for $20 million, and Cuba became a U.S. protectorate. Philippine insurgents who fought against Spanish rule during the war immediately turned their guns against the new occupiers, and 10 times more U.S. troops died suppressing the Philippines than in defeating Spain.
1950 Bunche receives Nobel Peace Prize
For his peace mediation during the first Arab-Israeli war, American diplomat Ralph Joseph Bunche receives the Nobel Peace Prize in Oslo, Norway. Bunche was the first African American to win the prestigious award.
Born in Detroit, Michigan, in 1904, he entered the field of U.S. diplomacy while serving in the Office of Strategic Services and the State Department during the 1940s. In 1947, he was appointed to the United Nations and served as an aide on the U.N. Palestine Commission, a special committee formed to seek an end to the crisis over Israel's movement toward independence. When the chief U.N. mediator between Israel and its Arab opponents died in early 1949, Bunche was thrust into a leading role in the process and proved instrumental in the successful negotiation of a cease-fire between the warring parties.
After receiving the Nobel Peace Prize, Bunche continued his important role at the U.N. and was noted for his expertise on colonial affairs and race relations. He died in 1971."

The words "Bush dies 12-10-03" and "Iraq" were found painted on the Nittany Lion shrine, a stone statue that depicts the university's mascot
Well I'm sure the student body has plenty of Arabs

For a scant few months after 9/11 I hoped naively that the relative unity which was demonstrated would somehow propel our nation into a new era, one characterized by a far more masculine outlook on life in general, and a major discrediting of the soft, feeble, moral relativism that had been increasing ever since the end of WW-II. How quickly my hopes were dashed. Here, in our darkest hour, with Western Civilization literally up against the wall, in fact so badly so that once reliable allies of the West are now in the anti Western camp, instead of the rallying and single minded determination that is needed to fend off the conquest, we have nothing but division, dissention and undermining operations. The truth is, all of the post metastatic subcultural cancer has rotted away the body of our nation and our civilization to such an extreme point that there is now a permanent and unruly product of the many years of extreme anti authoritarianism. Look I am not urging anything near authoritarianism, however, the lack of respect for what used to constitute our society's protective strata has grown to such an extent that it may well encompass a societal majority and if not that at least the majority of the urban coastal centers of power. I truly feel sorry for Bush in two ways firstly that he is so soft that he receives my constant critique (for all the right reasons) and secondly that the Jacobin element are so ideologically twisted that they consider Bush to be, of all things, an authoritarian! This in and of itself speaks volumes; if Bush is an authoritarian in the eyes of Jacobins from the realm of the Nittany Lion to the chambers of the Sacramento City Council, then anarchy, and the conquest of our Civilization by our enemies to follow, are seemingly inevitable. Sorry to come off with such a Spengler-like screed, but I really have little hope that this can work itself out in any sort of orderly fashion.

Well, there are wackos and malcontents in any city of 50,000. No permanent harm, and let's hope the offenders are caught and forced to repeatedly watch replays of the PSU-NW game.
Incidentally, I never heard anything about Sue Paterno defacing the Lion...I don't know where PennLive got that bit of info.

Yeesh... proto-fedayeen. At least many of the Hitler Youth had the good sense to lay down their weapons after der Fuhrer assumed room temperature. These little fanatics will be much more difficult to stop.

These little fanatics will be much more difficult to stop. Just so. But so far as we know, *der Fuhrer* these little darlings follow hasn't yet done his resting Norwegian Blue parrot imitation yet. We can hope that the SAS and SBS folks the Brits have recently sent to help the US effort have orders to do something about that shortly.
I'm sure that'll disappoint some of those in this country too. Good.

Point taken. I just hope that once the Special Forces types conclude that rat-killin' expedition, that Saddam's little darlings receive the due attention of the appropriate Iraqi truant officers.
Far better for the Iraqis to work out their own solutions to these problems, as soon as that is a viable and stable course to take. In Lon Fuller's essay on the problem of dealing with the "grudge informers" and other lawbreakers, the fifth and final option is vigilantism. IMO, that's going to be the only measure that finally works. Well, either that or neutron-enhanced ordnance (did I say that last part out loud? Damn my lack of inner dialogue!)
