THE British Red Cross was blasted yesterday for banning JESUS from its shops over Christmas.
Bosses fearful of offending minority faiths also outlawed nativity scenes and advent calendars showing Mary and Joseph and the three wise men. Christmas cards will simply say: Seasons Greetings.
Furious Tory Nigel Evans called on fellow MPs to demand a U-turn. He stormed: This is simply beyond the pale.
How can the Red Cross, sporting a Christian symbol as both its name and logo, possibly exclude Jesus from the holiday celebrating his birth?
Red Cross chief executive Sir Nicholas Young insisted it was vital the organisation was seen as neutral. The ban at its 392 shops was enforced last Christmas.
Sir Nicholas said: Neutrality is as important on the high street as it is in Iraq.
But Mr Evans raged: Its political correctness gone mad. Unless he reverses his decision, instead of banning the three wise men, I would suggest the Red Cross employs one new one at the top.

Okay. I have just banned the Red Cross.
They will get nothing more from me.

I'm having a hard time understanding what exactly he means by this. That didn't make sense to me either. I think he was just talking out of his butt and trying to sound P.C.

The Red Cross has seen my last penny.
Our local food bank did the same thing you know, two years ago they quit letting churches distribute their food because they did not want to be identified with any particular "religion".
Next thing I know their reps are on talk radio whining about folks not giving to the "needy" at the food bank anymore - I looked them up on internet after their local feed-the-poor-some-turkey benefit this year, found out they are affiliated with several radical, anti-american groups.
Might behoove us to find out who is trying to pull strings at the Red Cross now....
I do not give to any organization that affiliates or panders to anti-christian organizations.

They are going to take a big hit in their finances over this. The people who would be offended by Jesus, Christian themes or symbols are NOT the people who give money to them. It's the compassionate people who do. I can't recall any DemonRATS or other Liberals who support ANY compassionate giving. Since they have leaned to the left, let them collect from the left. I'll never give them another dime!!!!

OK, let's do something effective here gang. Just stopping our own contributions to the Red Cross will do little. Let's see about making sure NONE of our tax dollars go to this odious organization. Many of their contributions come from government. Let's get that stopped and see if they still want Jesus banned from their organization.

Hey wait a minute, hating Jews and Christians is okay these days, but what about the three wise men? Seems to me they will have a problem discriminating against them. Weren't they from Persia and other Middle Eastern countries?

Those who know about this should spare no effort in informing others. May God defund this organization into oblivion.
