Oppose and Subvert the Rivals of Wolves!
Lupine Defense League ^

Posted on 11/13/2003 6:23:47 AM PST by hardhead

The purpose of this website is to show injustices done to Wolves and point out the individuals and organizations that have proven themselves to be their enemies. This webpage will not be a pleasant place to peruse for those of us who love Wolves. In fact, this webpage is the color of blood... the blood that boils hot from the victims of human vanity, ignorance, and indifference. Those of us who love Wolves MUST NOT turn away! We must learn who the enemies of Wolves are and find ways to oppose and subvert them! We must defend what we love... the few remaining Wolves from heartless, selfish people who want things only for themselves... the people who are too shortsighted to understand the folly that destroys beauty, ecosystems, and worlds. We must rise to stop them soon, for Wolves, and many other beautiful predator species, are running out of time.

I hate to give these 'greenies' publicity for their website because it almost appears terroristic in nature. These are radical leftists in the true sense of the word. Scroll down the site and see the logo for 'VoteToImpeach.Org'. Also note how they deify wolf by using capitalizing the word: Wolf. They place wolves on the same level as humanity.

Someone should tell these morons that wolves and most other cute and fuzzy mamals will be extinct 1 million years from now. Nothing man does will help save it.

The only animal that will survive extinction indefinitely that orginates from earth is man.

I'm sure of it.

hell, merely import a few hundred thousand caribou along the wasatch I-15 urban corridor, and we could turn Utah into prime wolf country.

I wonder if these "greens" would know a wolf if it bit them?

I am reminded that most "environmentalists" never see nature. unless a 4 star hotel and resort is near. Once exposed to nature in all its fury, they tend to wine. This brings up the question of if a wolf pack eats an unarmed, leftist environmentalist wacko in the woods, and no one is around to hear, will he still wine?

I had to go to their site to see if my name was on the list...I guess being out of the USA since '96 is the reason why it isn't, but there sure are a lot of my friends listed.

As soon as I move back home, it will be my goal to be "listed".

There seems to be some sort of cabal on FR that feels obliged to denigrate anything of an environmental nature.

Now, I would never want to defend some of these wacko organizations and the one at issue may be in that group (but note that there are good, reasonable ones such as the World Wildlife Federation), but I think that wolves are important and fulfill an important role in nature and any effort to reduce their numbers significantly is wrong.

Unless, of course, you are a rancher who supplies cattle and sheep to America's tables.

Wolf management: shoot, shovel, shut up.

I have nothing against wolves or any other predator, but their populations should be both protected and controlled by human beings, for the good of human beings and wolves. The interests of people should always come first.

This very morning, we have kids in at a school in Portland, Oregon who are having their recess limited because of a cougar sighted just outside the school grounds.

A few years back, hunting cougars with dogs was banned after an emotional campaign by the irrational econuts. Now, look at what we're dealing with.

I live in Wyoming and roaming cougars have appeared many times on and near schoolgrounds in the area. Does that mean the cuddly little kitty is just curious and wants to see what all those tasty little morsels are that are running around?
