Don't you think he kept going back to the Bay to see if anything had surfaced and he needed to fix? After many weeks, it became apparent that he was really cocky. Like when Ted Rowlands told him that the MPD said that they were ready to make an arrest within a couple of weeks. He asked Peterson "Are you worried?" and Peterson says "No, they don't have ANYTHING on me"!! That was so revealing. An innocent person would have said Well I didn't do anything. Not this guy.

"Don't you think he kept going back to the Bay to see if anything had surfaced and he needed to fix? "It's possible except for what the dectective said in article above at posting #106.
From Article:"The detective told the court Peterson was observed starring out at the waters for several minutes on each visit."
It would seem to me if he was concerned something got loose and floated ashore he would have been out scanning the shores for a long ways as there is no possible way he could know exactly where anything might float ashore.
So I really don't think so. I think he was just drawn to her place of burial.
