"Don't you think he kept going back to the Bay to see if anything had surfaced and he needed to fix? "

It's possible except for what the dectective said in article above at posting #106.

From Article:"The detective told the court Peterson was observed starring out at the waters for several minutes on each visit."

It would seem to me if he was concerned something got loose and floated ashore he would have been out scanning the shores for a long ways as there is no possible way he could know exactly where anything might float ashore.

So I really don't think so. I think he was just drawn to her place of burial.

It appears SP was getting a tad nervous, re. returning to the bay on Jan. 5, 6 and 9 ... from a timeline ...

Jan. 2: Divers looked for Laci's body and then ruled out future searches at the Berkeley Marina.

Jan. 8: Divers returned to the Berkeley Marina.

Jan. 9: Sonar equipment detected an object in the water and investigators admitted it could be a human body.

Jan. 10: Dive search teams recover submerged anchor, not human body from water at Berkeley Marina.
